Why is this word offensive?
Why is it only offensive when said by non black people?
How does the word imply racism at all? My knowledge of racism is "deliberate hatred and discrimination against a certain minority or race of humans", I can't fathom how that can be put into a single word, which even if you mutter accidentally, still makes you racist?
imo people have become overly sensitive.

-It's not racist for black people to say it cos for one thing they've turned an incredibly offensive derogatory term into something almost I suppose empowering and it was white people not black people that used black people as slaves (context/connotation makes a pretty big difference)
