I honestly stay away from that side of Tumblr specifically because they go out of their way to make people like me (a white, cis-gendered middle-class white male) feel like shit by association. There is no discussion, no discourse about the issues but rather them [I]telling me[/I] that I'm personally oppressing someone by simply existing.
That and basically fragmenting groups of people further by essentially assigning them their own Pokemon stats IMO doesn't help equality in any way. All it does is further this almost tribal conflict of "No [I]i'm[/I] the most oppressed", I get the need to belong but making it your core trait and only talking about it makes it lose it's message as people will glaze over when you start talking about it for the 50th time that night. You end up in the same tier as stoners and metal-heads, who might be really nice people but are some of the most boring, pretentious people I've ever met because there's no depth to them, no complexity.

What are you guys' aspirations in life? What's your dream career/job? I'm asking because to me a job is something you don't want to do but have to for money. I'm not saying that you can't enjoy your job but I can't think of anything I really want to do that's feasible. I'm probably just going to aim for some boring IT job and be done with it.

Computer programming. Already have a degree in it and am looking for a job in it (more specifically in Java). As I've described it before, it's the closest you'll get to a wizard these days; a technomancer.
i think solving problems with programming is rewarding in the end however i started doing programming last year in uni and theres a lot of times where its just frustrating

I really want to become a concept artist/ illustrator working for some big gaming company, right now I'm stuck with architectural engineering.
