Time to play Devil's advocate, While I do see that Swog is overreacting/ shitposting, it is relatively perfectly reasonable to him (Since "normal" is relative to the person defining it), and I'm sure he thought that this was good thing to post when he did.
I think I already went through what Swog is going through right now ( When I got myself banned two-three years ago), back then you all seemed like elitist pricks (no offense) to me and it sounded reasonable to reply as such.
So basically: You guys may be right, But I'm sure Swog has his (relatively good) reasons, and you can't just tell him to "stop" (Do you have any idea how hard it is to "stop" being depressed and angry?)

people have reached out to the guy and tried to help. I can understand being depressed and having a tough time, but the way Swog handles it is just weird. he keeps pulling out "I'm suicidal, I suck at life and should kill myself" all the time in situations like these. mental issues is something you should treat with respect, not throw it out there as an excuse or as a way to gain sympathy.
the worst part must be that he ignores all the advice given. if I were him, I'd understand it after the first time I made a fool of myself like Swog does. I'd appreciate the advice given and worked on that. Swog just ignores it, behaves for a week then he starts bitching again.

I tried to help and put myself out there for him a month or so ago, and he just ignored it... and I know others have, too. All he wants to do is bitch, he doesn't want anyone to relate, because that would mean he isn't getting the attention he [i]really[/i] wants anymore.

I think that's why people take issue with it, because it has been made crystal clear on many occasions that people aren't going to respond with "aww poor babby, let's all be nice because someone is having a bad day and hates everyone else!"
And really, the whole 'im gonna kill myself' routine is not cool. I had a friend back in high school who was legitimately suicidal and he hung himself in a closet, his mom found him the following morning. People need to seek help if they're actually thinking about ending their own life. Posting that shit on an internet forum to simply gain sympathy is really lame.

I used to have a friend back in middle school too who was suicidal. one day I got a message that she had attempted to OD on pills. luckily she didn't take a high enough dose for it to kill her or affect her later in life. last time I met her was a few months ago, and it looked like she had sorted herself out a lot more. makes me happy to see people who have gone through suicidal thoughts and managed to steer their life back on track

Shitting on others to gain sympathy is a common sign of severe depression. I did it once where I would just stay away from people and have a sad look on my face, then wait for people to come over and be like "aww why are you so sad about? let's be friends just because you're sad", of course it seemed like a brilliant plan back then. It's really hard to get over, and any advice isn't considered as "help" because "they don't understand"
