Isn't the XL just a bigger screen, no higher resolution or anything? Would explain the stretching.

It's only really noticeable on older games like say Phantom Hourglass. It's not that big of a deal.

Yeah go ahead and play the Hardline beta if you want, I had some fun with it I won't lie but I just don't feel that it deserves it's $60 price tag :V, if anything I'd buy it when it goes down in price to like $25 or less.

Everyone's digging it, but I was actually thinking of making it like a series of collection of stories and that would be one of them so it wouldn't span across a whole novel.

Zombies don't attract much attention anymore. If anything it'll draw attention away. Look at the Steam store page. When I see zombies involved I often think "ugh, another" and pass it up when five years ago I would've been very interested. Just my two cents, though.

I think a story of a man on the run in this setting could be nice. Even with just that premise there are a lot of directions you could go. I'd recommend reading [i]Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said[/i] by Philip K. Dick. It shows how the stereotypical man on the run scenario can take a completely different approach than you would expect. I didn't really like the ending much though.
I don't really read books though, I just like coming up with ideas and stories in my head but and only starting to type them out. My biggest fear is coming up with an idea only to find out that it is not original.

I'd recommend starting to read. By reading books you can find out what you find enjoyable to read and therefore have inspiration on what and how to write.

Don't worry about it. Most of Shakespeare's plays weren't original, but we read and enjoy them anyways.

Maybe that ought to clear my conscience a bit, and make sure I should definitely let go.
Her reply was kind of unexpected, something along the lines of "It's so nice to hear from you again","I appreciate your honesty","it takes a lot of courage","I've been there before", "you have a kind and loving heart, which is really rare", "always stand up for yourself" and "if you need someone to talk to I'm there"
I'm not sure what to make of this, but it makes me smile nontheless.
