I just had the strangest dream last night.
Before I explain the dream, let me tell you what's happening currently:
-I'm watching [I]Burn Notice[/I] on Netflix.
-I started playing [I]Path of Exile[/I].
-I started playing the alto saxophone that I haven't played for more than five years.
So what was the dream? Bruce Campbell and I had to kill a giant, grotesque monster, and the only way to defeat it was to play the saxophone solo from 'Baker Street' by Gerry Rafferty.

Weirdest dream I remember:
I was riding shotgun with my dad, it was really dark. So dark that we couldn't see anything except where the headlights were looking. For some reason he decided to take a shortcut through what appeared to be an average American construction site (not a common sight in Egypt), which then turned out to be construction of a rollercoaster track.
We ran into some of the scaffolding, which collapsed (none of it broke) on the car's hood. Suddenly my dad started accelerating really hard, hitting more and more scaffolding. I was like "dad... dad... DAD", suddenly there's a brick wall and we crash through it unharmed. I look at him and he has a really stressed out look on his eyes.
This is when I felt a light from behind, and when I looked over there was a [b]Steam Engine Train[/b] moving at full speed right behind us. I started yelling "GO GO GO" or something, we crashed through another wall, and I woke up right before we went through the third one.

I also had a dream where I punched a ghost in the fucking face because it was being a goddamn dick for haunting our house.
That would make a good movie.

Old games, especially old games that could be modded to great effect, are the shit. I'm having a blast with Darkstone now, playing the Avenger. Give me the classics any day, they still entertain when you need them to.
I don't like fighting games, but I think they have really cool characters. I wish those characters where used in different game genres besides fighting games. Like what if Mortal Kombat was made into an open world RPG. Or Street Fighter made into a Grand Theft Auto clone.
I just think the characters are appealing and ripe for other genres.
So tempted to spent 120€ to get access to Elite: Dangerous now. Development seems to be proceeding faster than Star Citizen, at least; though I may very well be tempted to get that as well. Decisions, decisions.
Cost includes "All major downloadable expansion packs as they are released" apparently; wondering how many they plan to release.
I think fighting games are rad, but I'm awful at them. :-(

I can't even beat an easy bot. Level one is impossible for me in Mortal Kombat. The ridiculous combinations were the reason why I prefer the Super Smash Bros. style than any other fighting games'. Simple moves mostly universal, like up+B is often a recovery move on every character, but the execution differs slightly.
