Sorry, but you shouldn't have to wear specific clothing just so someone can see that [i]you[/i] as a person are pretty (your physical appearance, at least), and not just the clothes you're wearing. I'm not saying that if you're pretty you should wear bummy clothes, but come on. The same thing applies to glasses. For years and years I chose frames that [U]I[/U] liked, usually something simple and modest. I got no compliments at all, not even a glance from anyone. But, the moment I get frames similar to wayfarers (they're basically wayfareres without the studs on the front), people were complimenting me left and right, I was getting looks every now and then, I was even getting people doing double takes at me.
And why were they doing that? Because they liked the glasses, and not me.
