I ended up not continuing as I ended up in a situation where I couldn't progress. had only one save which barely had any health, no ammo, and lots of enemies which made progressing very hard. I should get back into it

Got myself a Zelda 3DS! Really really stoked to play all the great games I've been missing out on! But I had to get it used, and I'm nervous because I've never got a used system before... Hope it works or isn't damaged or has a scratched screen, or or... Anything D:

I need a new laptop, but I can't decide. What I'm trying to decide is if I should go ahead and get the $900 gaming laptop for easy transport to college, or if I should just get a $500-$700 regular laptop and then use the money I saved to upgrade my desktop. It's completely possible to take my desktop to college, but it is pretty bulky and is just another thing to pack, plus I need to upgrade the processor since it's a PoS, which also involves changing motherboards

Watching the transition from horror with fps elements in system shock and system shock 2 to the bioshock games getting.continually more action oriented and less horror is kinda interesting too but mostly cos you can watch how the games get worse as Irrational go on and they forget how to make good games cos they decide shooting is more important than atmosphere but still can't make a game with good mechanics (poor mechanics are almost a good mechanic in horror games for tension/helplessness imo)

My room is at least 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house :/ As for water cooling, i'm not sure. It'll still dump the heat into your room, unless you route it such that the water goes somewhere else entirely to get rid of the heat. Afaik most water-cooling systems are closed-circuit (since biocides need to be added to keep the water clean); the water is used just because it's far more thermally conductive than air, rather than having one end connected to a faucet and the other into a drain.
