I figured they'd be expensive but they seem a lot cheaper and easier to use than what I expected, that's awesome.

if you want to do an arcade cabinent, especially for metal slug, then don't use a snes emulator, use a neo geo emulator

in any case a neo geo is a much better fit for an arcade system considering that the home console was literally the arcade board inside a box
Too true. I'd probably still go with the Pi though, i'll probably work it to where it goes into two USB ports so I can plug in fight sticks, controllers etc and the Pi would likely be cheaper in the long run.
