I think my percieved difficulties with judging distances and such measurements are actually mostly from confusion over imperial and the other, proper kind of measurements. Like, I have no idea what a mile-long road would look like, but a kilometer would be a bit easier to imagine.

I'm thinking that if I were ever kidnapped by a group of people (no group in particular, just got abducted and held for ransom or something), I would not stop yelling racial slurs at the captors whose races I knew. Literally, the entire time I would be there, I would be screaming slurs at them just to make their day extra shitty. If they put a gag in my mouth, I'd still scream it, albeit a bit muffled.
