we used to be probably the least relaxed forum there was. you could even get banned for spelling words wrong. we've been letting too much slide lately and it's caused a disturbing userbase to grow.
and check our daily bans. pretty sure even now we ban more than 90% of other forums. you're making shit up
Just because the environment is relaxed doesn't mean the rules aren't enforced strictly. As well, bans here are used as warnings. Other forums I visit use bans as a final measure for rule breakers. Infractions and suspensions come first. Very rarely does a banhammer actually come down in places like that. So it's a bit of a bad comparison there Rusty.

We're literally one of the most strict forums on the net lol, banning more people a day than most big forums do in a month and forbidding meme/warez talk/image macro shit that fills nearly every other forum. I really wouldn't call us 'relaxed' just because of some miniscule stuff lots of other forums already do, or that a thread where people posted porn and occasionally said "wow that's nice" plays a major part in making us unique lol. Especially when we have an entire subforum where people post porn already....

The rules may be strict, but the environment is not. And for that, Facepunch to me is one of the most relaxed forums out there.
