Do you really need to go out of your way to shit on Swog. Christ you people are so fucking touchy.
I personally thought Oblivion had the weakest story. You didn't even feel like anyone particularly important, most of the quests just had you being Jauffre & Martin's errand runner. The overworld was bland and didn't feel exciting to explore, plus the difficulty curve was broken to point where once you leveled up enough, nearly every random bandit was dropping glass weapons.
I agree that Morrowind's combat was clunky, but it was a remnant of the first 2 games which used sprites for characters and added some depth to combat by having a percentage chance to hit/block attacks.
In Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, when aren't you someone's errand boy? Although, in Oblivion there's a lot of emphasis on that, especially the ending. [sp]If you haven't already played TES IV, Martin is the real hero, you're just the hero of Kvatch. Even though you're the one who goes through all of those Oblivion portals, wiping out legions of Daedra, doing everything and anything to prevent Mehrunes Dagon from destroying Cyrodiil... nope, Martin's the real hero and has dragon's blood running through him.[/sp]
I did not go out of my way and I am my own animan.
edit: + I shit on most people :)
Yeah but at least Oblivion had some great faction questlines to bolster it.
Skyrim's were all terrible. Simply the most awful excuse for questlines. Just do three quests and become the boss of everything. At least Oblivion's were a solid length and made you feel like your earned you leadership role.
I agree with this so much. I honestly don't give a damn that the guild's got screwed over lore-wise, and it's canonical that blah blah blah "this is why the guild isn't as good as it used to be" yadda yadda. To me, the only guild that was done right was The Dark Brotherhood. Same old assassin goodness without any nonsense fluff crammed in for good measure. The Thieves Guild had some decent quests, but other than that, I wasn't a fan.

True enough (though I haven't done thieves + dark brotherhood in skyrim). Still, I think Oblivion just had more quests and therefore more quests which stick out. There were plenty of terrible boring quests in Oblivion.
Really though the world is the most important thing for me and I think Morrowind and Skyrim both have interesting worlds and Oblivion failed on that account almost entirely. I remember plenty of Oblivion quests fondly but every time I consider reinstalling I just think "Ech, don't really feel like traipsing around a generic European fantasy forest."
True enough (though I haven't done thieves + dark brotherhood in skyrim).
You'll probably be better off not doing the Dark Brotherhood quests.
[sp]But you can start it off by instead of killing one of the hostages, kill your captor instead.[/sp] [sp]But if you don't do that and go through with what she says, you'll eventually be unable to step foot in Solitude again if you want to live.[/sp]
My dad's computer has a hard drive that's been stabilized around 80-90% health, but today it dropped like 10%. Was not expecting this.

Save yourself the trouble :v:
eh, oblivion's was worse imo.
Well at least in Oblivion you went to a huge variety of locations all over the Province. In Skyrim you didn't even go to half of the major cities and it was all Dwemer and Nord ruins.

And yeah, Skyrims faction quests were awful. Thieve's Guild literally ended with you becoming Larceny Batman and never actually having to steal stuff like in Oblivion.
maybe the morrowind quests just felt less boring to me because there was so much more interesting stuff to look at, idk

Seems like my pc died, I guess that means no videogames for 2 months.
I just ran into and talked to an old friend of mine that I know liked me, and didn't ask her out because I assumed she was still with her boyfriend.
Decided to check her FB and she is not.

Dude, why are you on here instead of getting on her, go for it man.
I gotta talk to her on FB when she gets on since I don't have her number anymore and haven't seen her in years, but I'll probably ask her if she wants to hang out or something.
I feel stupid for not doing it in person though

Cos Wacklemore invented thrift shopping.
I'm looking for a site where you talk to people online, that is a lot like omegle but focuses more on multiple interests, like omegle but better. Any recommendations?

Cause thrift shopping is a philosophy.

More of a lifestyle choice.

[sp]Are you implying you didn't have at least 3000 gold in your inventory at any given time? It's piss fucking easy to get money in Skyrim, so you should be paying off murder debts every single time you get caught.[/sp]
Shit I might need to buy a new computer. Mine is almost 7 years old and it's starting to feel the age.
You served me well, sweet prince.
mine's coming up on its 4th birthday
