when your fandom starts to become a label in your identity things are getting to far. all this shit on tumblr with like "whovians" and the supernatural one whatever it is and stuff is THE WORST GET A FUCKING PERSONALITY

Lemmie tell you guys somethin' here. You think [b]I[/b] like Rocket Raccoon too much, wait until you see this dude named Leo Wyld. He's where that name "Raccoonatic" comes from. That's probably the first thing you'll hear him say other than "cosmic greetings" (I [i]know[/i] right). The guy is obsessed with Rocket to an almost unhealthy degree. On this forums in his signature, he has the mother fucking date and time he came up with the name Raccoonatic. Seriously. He considers himself the head of the Rocket Raccoon fanbase or something, the "Raccoonatic Commander" he calls that made-up position. He writes the editorial about all things Rocket Raccoon over at this blog I wrote a toy review once for, Guard the Galaxy. The editorials are called "Flarkin Awesome" if you wanna read them. One time I pointed out how he might have gotten something wrong and he lost his marbles. He entered panic mode and was going to shut down and never do an editorial again. I don't hate the guy, he's kind of nice actually. Dude just gives me the creeps.

They won't be worth jack shit. The comics on the other-hand already are worth money. The tradebook I got for 17 bucks back when all I knew about GotG was that it had Rocket Raccoon in it is now worth over 100. Marvel Preview #4 (the first appearance of Star-Lord) is worth quite a bit too and is really unlikly to get a price drop. So I could make some money right now if I really needed to.
