oh my god it was neither of those things, it was my plugged-in xbox controller vibrating against the side of my computer while i played mount & blade which means i've been punching my air conditioner for the whole evening for no reason

oh fuck I have the greatest idea for a short film based off of Franz Ferdinand's first album and each song would make its way into the film in order to help for a cohesive narrative.
i have to write this down.

So basically it would be called Jacqueline. It would be about this teenage boy. He was in a pretty happy relationship with this chick named Jacqueline. Basically she's driving them somewhere one day, and the boy causes her to laugh uncontrollably while she's driving. they get into a crash and she dies. he doesn't. he's torn apart by guilt and not wanting to move on. Eventually he does, and starts exploring his sexuality further, but in the end feels like he's betrayed Jacqueline and her memory. The ending would be him standing on a rooftop, and it would cut to credits with him breathing deep and closing his eyes on the edge of the building.
Like shit, that would an intense short film.
So the songs on the album are
Jacqueline - Be played in full from the start of the title card.
Tell Her Tonight - Show the guy and Jacqueline's history as a couple a bit, maybe their first kiss, that sort of thing. Would show up in the background.
Take Me Out - As they're in the car it would be playing, the part where it goes "I Know I won't be leaving here without you" Jacqueline would turn the radio down, laugh then crash.
Dark of the Matinee - Be played in full, when the line "Take your white finger, slide the nail under the top and bottom buttons of my blazer", you would see the rescue crew trying to revive Jaqueline. Since it's a bit of a trippy song, the rest of this sequence would involve switching between the main character's dream like state where everything is distorted and sorta drugged up, and the real life shit going on (ambulance, hospital).
Auf Asche - Also played in full, character is staying up listening to this song blaming himself for what happened. Flashbacks to happier times, them at a dance, that sort of deal. Then the funeral.
Cheating on You - Played in part on a radio or something, as he hooks up with some other chick who pities him.
This Fire - Character starts to hook up with more people, as if to fill some sort of void in him (The Fire). Maybe played in full, idk.
Darts of Pleasure - A bit of a continuation of the previous stuff, except he's hanging out with seedier people, doing drugs, basically the title of the song. dunno if this would be played in full.
Micheal - He starts to explore his sexuality further, by the end of this part he feels like he's betraying Jacqueline. probably played in full/
Come on Home - When he really starts to feel guilty. Wants to turn his life around, but can't see any way to without Jacqueline.
40' - And this would be the end. Played in full for sure. When the lyrics start, you would see him close his eyes and take a deep breath. Then it would cut to credits.

Bit of a warning though: Unique Landscapes can kill your framerate. Not all the time, but in some locations there will be a huge and very noticeable drop.

Fuk that mod, I got it years ago before it was completely finished and after this one prat of the quest it broke my game and made me unable to take damage anymore
All my friends are still in bed, fucking lazy shits
So we just found a bird in the cabinet where the exhaust hose of our stove hood is hidden away.
We have re-assigned our kitchen 10 years ago, and the connector for the stove hood is still at its original position on the edge of the rear wall, while the hood itself is on the adjacent wall to the right, so we hid away the exhaust hose in a cabinet.
Now my brother wanted to bake some eggs, when he heard scurrying in the cabinet, turns out there was a bird in there, really dirty.
We got it out, and called animal control who picked it up 5 minutes afterwards.
I do hope my replacement SSD is here within the week or early next, because I'm anxious to start blasting cops in Payday 2 again, and not having the computer blue screen every day or so from memory use.
