I dropped my laptop off at an Apple reseller, at least the guy I talked to recognized my problem and has put it down for diagnosis, and he says he should have it sorted by the end of this week or next week.
Just hoping the problems I've been having with it get resolved, bit of a bugger to get a lemon.
Oh and trying to find something else decent to wear instead of joggers and white shirts, I need to empty my drawers that are full of them...

Just discovered my old laptop has been wedged down the side of my desk on charge and on standby for the last 6 months.
Apparently the last thing I ever used it for was to watch YouTube tutorials on how to put together the PC components I had purchased. Makes sense I guess.

if it's a decent laptop, the battery wouldn't have been used much during those 6 months. modern laptops typically have a system to bypass the battery for system use when the AC is plugged in (my macbook does anyways)
