I should never have chosen the room on the sunny side of the building, it's like being in a sauna heated by a nuclear reactor. Covered my window with wallpaper so I can open the window while still being able to see something other than the sun on my screen. Hopefully also keeps the room somewhat cooler.
Put a fan next to the window and point it outside. It helps tremendously.
i wonder if it's normal to have trouble urinating after abdominal surgery. i can barely pee standing up because i can't keep my stomach unclinched even when sitting down i don't have a steady stream
aka, shove a needle up your urethra Kurahk's option might be preferable
No dick means never getting any so between that and a small degree of being uncomfortable that's going to subside soon, I'll take #2.
I have to do a last minute art piece for a friend, in which i had no idea what the details were. Just that i have to be dressed as a fairy and be cute and creepy and get paid money. I had already agreed to helping, but now that i know the details, I'm really freaked out. Its in front of 500 people and i have to interact with the audience. What sucks even more besides it being in 3 hours, i don't have the costume finished[sp] and i just got my period. [/sp] Lovely.
I think I'm going to die of this heat my legs melted earlier this morning
suddenlink sounds like an isp that doesnt know what the fuck is going on
hehe, suddenlink, I love that "WOAh what the fuck okay looks like you just opened a browser" "JESUS okay loading a page slow down there"
and creepy

[sp]i just got my period. [/sp].
Sprinkle them with your fairy dust.
a lot of people sometimes experience this, it's no biggie, if you're having too much trouble they'll probably catheterize you.
well i'm already home so i guess if it's not better in a day or two i'll call the doctor and see what he thinks
[t]http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y350/kaminariX2/DSC03460.jpg?t=1278940928[/t] basically this just happened a bunch of times to my laptop.... am.... am i gunna die???? :tinfoil:
same thing happened to mine a while back, and it turned out the gpu was fried which basically bricked the whole thing. if you're really lucky it is just the monitor but sadly i doubt this is the case
well, if your gpu isn't dead yet then it seems like it may be out the door or i could be talking out of my ass based on only one experience
well, if your gpu isn't dead yet then it seems like it may be out the door or i could be talking out of my ass based on only one experience
Some end up dying this way, so you're on the right track. hunterNormandy, if the lappy is still in warranty I'd get it fixed asap.
its 5 years old.. aka its not :v
I still own a laptop that's 4 or almost 5 years old and it has never died. What model is yours?
Asus G73JH
Eep, I'm sure eBay has cards for that. But it's risky.
I've always been an optimistic JIDF. But now I realise- two states are very unlikely, and it's one of the most fucking bleak thing out there. There's no winner in this.

gtx 780 is a bit more expensive for a small performance boost, but u get much better drivers and a card that runs less hot
what the heck is with the r9 290x vs the gtx 780?
just people who thinks their brand is better than the other. http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R9-290X-vs-GeForce-GTX-780 it'd probably be a more fair comparison if it was a 780Ti as I believe that's the direct competitor of the R9 290X http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R9-290X-vs-GeForce-GTX-780-Ti generally the 780Ti performs better than the R9 290X, but it also costs a decent chunk more
All i care about is if I get the gtx 780 I will be able to max all my games. if it does that then good enough.
I'm sure the 780/780ti will be able to max out everything you throw at it with the current games, and probably max out games even in a few years. I think the same said can be said about the R9 290X too, though. the difference isn't exactly huge. it'll probably last less years when thinking of how long it'll be able to max out stuff, but I'd say it's reasonable to switch out the GPU by then. either way, I don't think you'll make a wrong or right choice when it comes to the two. one costs more, one costs less, the performance difference is there, though small.
"big is beautiful" what's not beautiful is hearing my fucking chairs creek.
mmm big ol' cup of tea and some golden oreos
Might not be relevant to WAYT, but anyone here ever actually eat enough of something that years later the though of eating it makes you sick? For me its grape jelly/jam. I didn't care for a majority of the food served in school, so I had PB&J almost everyday. Year and years of doing so has made the thought of grape jelly/jam one of nausea. Besides, strawberry jelly/jam/preserves are better anyway.
