What makes him so special?
What makes him so special?
He's just a cool funny dude. Does videos n' shit. Met him once too, super nice.
All around pretty rad.
I find some of his stuff really cool and his Q&A are pretty neat, he seems like a neat dude. But when plays some stuff it feels like he is jumping into this dumbass role in order to appease the fans being all silly and shouting.

I'll agree, I feel he's fell into more of a character as time went on, but I still get a kick out of his stuff. And it's nowhere near as bad a character as most youtube people put on. I can see why others probably wouldn't like it though.
And like you said his other stuff's pretty good. I enjoy it. The TGS podcast where he confessed his love for Felicia Day is still one of my favorite things on the internet.
This also applies to the yogcast, I actually liked them a lot back in the day. I think Lewis is a pretty cool guy and I love when the play stuff that doesn't have mass appeal, like some obscure games or some more advanced strategy games. But when you put them together all, they are obnoxious and annoying.
Or Nerd Cubed. I used to really enjoy his stuff, but I went back to him lately and god damn he's become such an obnoxious twat.
*alteration is p neat boyo*
Alteration is great because of paralyze and transmute, but it fails in every aspect of being "protective" magic. Even when dual-casting ebonyflesh in a fully perked alteration tree (and making sure I'm not wearing anything that can be considered armor), I still get wrecked fighting draugr in the Nordic ruins.
Light armor and heavy armor will always be better.

A protip is to not allow yourself to get hit. The mage armor spells are meant more as a fallback when you either get ambushed or have problems with mobility especially in dungeons. That is why I carry a legendary Spellbreaker. Can't be arxed to waste even more magicka on a lesser ward to protect myself when I can whip out a shield that can do slightly better warding and protect me from blows. It feels like not wearing armor is a buff with shields because to me, you can raise it quicker wiithout a delay like I noticed with light armor.
Sounds like you're also trying to take them on alone. Conjuring an atronach or dragging Barbas in there with you (at the expense of getting pushed onto pressure plates and tripwires because he doesn't obey "sit") would turn the tides. It distracts them from you and if you get some distance in, you wouldn't need to worry too much. If it weren't for the frost atronach in the last room at Hearth Shroud Barrow, I'd be a puncushion.
I only played through Skyrim once until I finished the main campaign. I keep seeing people raving about mods and people putting thousands of hours into the game, yet I can't bring myself to play it again
must have mods? anything from content to making stuff beautiful. maybe I should give it a try again

They're not mods, but have you done the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood yet? I did them on my second playthrough with a stealth-focused character and found they were the most enjoyable parts of the game. I'd already put dozens, maybe even a hundred hours into the game on my first playthrough. If you're a fan of stealth you should enjoy them.

I completed all the guild quest things in my first playthrough. I've probably experienced most of what the vanilla game can offer as I believe my first and only playthrough of the game clocked at 75 hours (what steam says at least)

lol u must be the first person ive seen that says the thieves guild and dark brotherhood are good
lmbo prolly the worst of the guild quest lines.
Tropsical guy where are you?
Skyrim was pretty bad its just a whole load of nothing
Skyrim is ok
Oblivion is better IMO
so i step on the only small shard of glass on the floor this morning. thats new.. never stepped on glass before. its an odd and painful sensation feeling it tear through your skin.
i was pissed and had to pull it out my foot. blood starts pouring out.. lovely.
then my best friend calls me about how she still wants that breast implant surgery done, but oh! now she wants to get a tummy tuck and a butt lift (she's calling me whilst on her way to the doctors office to get a consultation).
I don't want to be around her if she gets through with this, which knowing her, she probably will, because she's already an attention whore. maximizing her looks 10x because she thinks she's ugly is the stupidest thing to me. waste of money as well. She's working out with me and she's not even fat or ugly but she wants quick results and doesn't want A-cup boobs anymore and always complains that it isn't fair that i was blessed with a nice ass and tits.
no bitch. I've been working out/athletic/a tomboy half my life. don't blame your woes on me because i had a different lifestyle choice and had been active for most of it.
it certainly had some fun quests. like the shadow over innsmouth like quest, the painting/dream quests, getting fucked up on hist sap and murdering a town while tripping. the dark brotherhood quests were really fun.
also, for skyrim, pregd, get mod organizer and learn how to use it. its not difficult, just different, but its amazing .

They sure are more fun than the College of Fetch Quests and the Whiterun's pack of overgrown skeevers.
i went back to the gym yesterday after 4 weeks of not going
everything hurts
but i got my lab results back from my doctor and it turns out i'm almost as healthy as i can be
I wonder if there's someone out there that thinks they smell real bad all the time no matter how many showers they take but it's actually their mustache they don't wash that smells bad

who the fuck takes a shower without washing their face

They were a lot more fun than the others and the stealth was surprisingly good. The Companions were pretty underwhelming, and the College was a load of shit. For the latter I walked through the whole boring nine quests in Daedric armour twatting things with a mace and cast like two Apprentice-level spells that were required to advance the plot. In the end Tolfdir decided that despite him being an experienced Master Wizard I should be the new Arch-mage because I did a good job twatting things for a week.
i feel bad for the person that doesn't realize their breath gets really shitty when their mouth gets dry and thinks it's because they haven't taken care of their pie hole
[sp]hint: that person was me[/sp]
