28. Fallout 3 (Shouldn't be on the list. Also, it's higher on the list than Fallout 1 and New Vegas? This is bullshit. Fallout 2 isn't even on this list, and that's a close tie to NV.)

31. Thief 2: The Metal Age (haven't played it)

#1 on that list should have been Mount and Blade: Warband, seriously. Best PC game all years.
I honestly think that a few games on there deserve it (Fallout/Fallout: New Vegas, Half-Life 2 or the Half-Life series in general, the Civilization series, TES IV: Oblivion. and maybe a few others), but these sorts of lists should be compiled based on genre and not sales (or whoever's paying them off), and be called "Best PC games to date".

I like PC Gamer a lot, but then again I read UK PC Gamer, the lists still aren't great but it's really funny and I trust their reviews.

it seems to be mostly dominated by newer games as if older games never existed. where's MGS1? surely that's a game worthy of being put in a list like this
in the end, top 10 or top 100 lists are total bullshit anyway. ranking games to see which one is "best" is a terrible idea when games spans across so many genres and play styles which caters to different people

If the list was for games like FTL, and a lot bigger (in the hundreds, I mean), then yeah. It is a very enjoyable game with tons of replayability. I've logged nearly a hundred hours in it, and I haven't gotten bored of it yet.
I've got nearly 1000 hours in Warband, irrefutable proof that it's the best PC game of all time. I never play games for that much time.
Also many of my friends have over 2000 hours in it. Yes, it is the best PC game of all time. Irrefutably so.

Two completely different genres. I really don't like lists like this because they [i]always[/i] put games together that cannot be compared simply because of their genres. This would be list putting Bad Company 2 up against Burnout: Paradise. One's an FPS with multiple game modes and the other's a fucking racing game with explosions.
