Do NOT eat heavy foods or snacks before bed. This is never a good idea. Brush your teeth and swish with listerine. You aren't suppose to eat food or drinks after swishing for a half hour anyways. So that will give you the incentive. Make sure you aren't on any device, watching tv... no bright lights period 90 minutes before bed. When you're in a dark room for a long period of time, your brain thinks its time for you to go to sleep. So shut off your phone and tv an hour or so before bed and read a book in low lighting or fap. Make sure you try to go to bed earlier and earlier so you can retrain your body and brain for a more scheduled sleep time. Try going to bed at 9 every day in the week. then 8 the next week. it works. If you have something on your mind or bothering you and its keeping you awake, write it down and put it in your dresser or on the table.
