I'm leaving for school tomorrow. I've been saying my byes and farewells but I still need to do my last one here. This thread, and so many other threads, have been so helpful for getting me through less good times. As stupid and silly as it sounds, Facepunch has helped me develop into a much better person, and I just want to thank you guys so much.

Never had glass bottle coke, but have drank many other glass bottle sodas. Even when it's not a bottle, but normal Ginger Ale in a drinking glass or something it seems to taste better.

I'm no genius and I'm talking out of my ass, but I have a feeling it preserves the taste using magic. we have hard plastic bottles here in Norway which they sell soft drinks in, but the swedish variant is a very light, easy to crush plastic. the taste is sooo much better in the ones we have around here compared to the swedish ones, and the only reason I can think of must be hard plastic vs soft plastic

Besides any possible differing ingredients, glass has no chemical reactions with whatever is contained within it. It also won't degrade over time like plastic does. So, if someone keeps a liquid in a glass bottle for a long time, it won't have an affect on it. If the same is done with a plastic bottle, tiny pieces of plastic from inside of the bottle will likely begin to chip away and form a deposit at the bottom. So when you drink your beverage, you end up consuming trace amounts of plastic (which has an effect on the taste, especially if it's like water.)
I always prefer my Coca Cola in a glass. I've had Mexican Coke a couple times before, but I can't remember the taste too well.

Once I had water from a very old plastic bottle I found under a car seat and it tasted sort of like spaghetti. It was disgusting.

that works, but i personally don't loan like that.
around here bikers sit tight on everything and they do not permit anyone selling drugs in the city, unless it's bought through them. i know people who accepts this and has deals like the one you're talking about with them, but i don't like the concept of having to sell their drugs when i could get a better product through other means.
yeah there arent biker gangs or anything like that here its just anyone and everyone free to do whatever pretty much
Drawing class was pretty cool. The professor is this bad-ass Italian guy who fought in Vietnam (I think) and is missing fingers. The dude also reads tons of manga and comic books. He's super chill and has some pretty unconventional teaching methods. Like he doesn't just place some shit down and go "okay draw", he actually works with you and all this good shit.
This is gonna be a good semester.
