Random thing I remembered while listening to the GotG soundtrack:
I remember in one of my early semesters at college, I had Hooked on a Feeling on my iPod because I heard it was in the GotG comic-con trailer. It was during the winter and I had a night class so I had to do a bunch of driving at night for the first time.
Well one day there was a big ice storm or something iirc, and the power was out, trees had fallen over, and my car's defroster was busted, so I had to take a back road in the middle of the night with almost zero visibility.
So I was driving down a road with a drop off on one side that went into a river and mailboxes on the other side. I could see some bright lights coming from something ahead of me but couldn't make it out because the window was really foggy. I wiped the window and some piece of shit hummer was riding [i] in the middle of the road[/i]
The asshole clearly did not give a shit if he hit me or couldn't see me or something. I had to get out of the way, but if I went to my left I'd hit mail boxes, so I had no choice but to go on the side that lead to the cliff.
I sharply swerved and almost tipped off the edge, when this happened, Hooked on a Feeling went into the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrI-UBIB8Jk&list=PLc9roNDHaYna7rfb24iZyrQvq4dLyBOBS#t=128]IIIIIIIIIIII'MM[/url] part and then the music kicked in the second I managed to get back on the road.
Every time I think about it, that perfect timing makes me chuckle even though I probably was inches away from rolling down into a river and dying.
Why not go towards the mailboxes? Sounds better than a cliff.
