so i finally got around to seeing guardians of the galaxy. it was p.cool tho i think it couldve been better edited. a lot of the action scenes and scenery porn shots were like a split second long. the movie couldve benefitted from lingering on some things and letting people enjoy looking at all the cg that prolly cost a fortune. also i missed the first 10 minutes or so but does this take place in the future or is starlord just some random dude that somehow got teleported across the galaxy? that green lady as dumb tho i think. they should make the next one just about the racoon, tree, samoan, and dipshit

So many horror movies now are being done with "ooooh spoopy camera shake oh look a blurry monster for just half a frame oh no man i'm so scared!!!!!". The film industry is really going downhill.
the film industry in my part of the world has already gone downhill. Their 'original' concepts are 90% of the time garbage and their formulaic films are worse than garbage.

ifi made a movie i would use static cameras that wouldnt move with a field of view of 120 degrees and people would walk around the room to talk to each other

I stopped going into SH a looooooong time ago. I just rarely look at the odd thread. That place is a shithole sometimes, people gotta argue about things that sometimes dont have anything to do with the actual story.

Like, I remember there was a incident just after the war that would of made a great movie, cant remember exactly in detail what happened but basically a regiment of US infantry and a group of surrendered wehrmacht fought alongside eachother against a regiment of the SS who either still thought that the war was still going or were so indoctrinated that they would rather die in the SS or something.
Interesting story, would love to see a movie baseda round the events of it.
