Still feels like wasted effort to me. At least serial killers actually show up in their films and, you know, kill people. not like cosmic horror stuff where the big bad whatever is floating off in space or in the sea or whatever doing fuck all.

The expansion added a lot of nice content, more weapons, another race of aliens, MORE WEAPONS, more variety in scenarios you'll come across, and variety to how the sector web is set up. If you like games like FTL, then you will most definitely like FTL. Also, I recommend getting the soundtrack as well, because it is absolutely perfect and adds 100% to the atmosphere of the game.

Supposedly the AE version broke a lot of mods when it was released because of how drastically it changed the game's coding or something.

I lurk in basically the same way, although only recently I've started to post semi-frequently. A month or two ago, my post count was at about 90 something.
I think the content of someone's posts is more important than post count.
Today has been a lot better than yesterday. Went out to take photographs for a local event; specifically a bronze age reenactment group that needed a photographer but forgot to actually hire someone, so my dad asked if they can fill me in instead. So I spent the entire day working around a bronze age site with my camera, and at the end of it all the head asked for my email so she can invoice me. so thats pretty cool
You should send over a bunch of selfies and out of focus pictures.
