MD is OK. In terms of safety that does depend on the dealer, my mates used to buy it in crystal form so that you know it's not cut with anything since it'd be pretty easy to tell but in general it should be fine.
I dunno it depends on where you take it because I mainly took it when watching dance acts like The Prodigy or Disclosure and it just heightens your senses, sometimes it makes you more talkative or whatever but for me I literally couldn't focus on anything other than the beat. Oh and depending on how wired you get take some chewing gum because you will destroy your teeth if you have a wild gurn.
