Trying to watch this American thriller film with a friend, its called Gone Baby Gone For ages I struggled to even understand what Casey Affleck was saying, because all I heard was a series of quiet grunts and murmurs. That wasn't impressive. The aforementioned protagonist then walks into a bar and immediately verbally spars with a guy like a smartarse. For 60 seconds straight literally, and I'm not kidding, every other word is fuck or faggot or another similar slur. Later he shit-talks a crime boss and acts like a smartarse laying out what's going to happen again. Casey Affleck does however become more intelligible later as you get practice listening to his whiny and seemingly adolescent voice. Fuck was the easiest word to pick up because the word is sprinkled in every single conversation, spoken by every single person except the reasonable woman companion in the movie almost without fail. Is this just what it is like in Boston USA

Gone Baby Gone was a great film and Casey Affleck owned hard in the lead
