God, now I remember why I stopped going into GameGate threads pretty much everywhere. I used to like the whole movement before but now it's turned into a bunch of people trying to find whatever excuse they can (even if it's not related to GG at all, like TB's response to TheVerge's Dota 2 review) to launch thinly-veiled attacks to "feminists".
It's also full with sociopaths whose only objectives are, as they describe it, ruin Zoe's life as much as possible no matter what.
So you know what? Since both sides are horrible, I'm just gonna chill out in my little corner until they eventually collapse/implode and not worry about this shit anymore.

Yeah no, if anything my parents would be really supportive.
My mom would probably love it since I think she was rooting to have a daughter, and my dad wouldn't give a fuck since all he cares about is if I make good grades and don't do drugs.
But it's still a super awkward thing to tell them, so I keep it away from em.

I use to go to the Manchester one all the time before I moved out. Felt kinda guilty though because I could get authentic burritos (the couple moved from Mexico City) in a five minuite walk but Taco Bell burritos are just great for some reason.

Might as well post what I got in shit for, I might not be able to use a computer for a few days afterwards.
I wrote a less than flattering Word document about my nutball teacher. I was planning on sending it to myself to print and slip into my friend's textbook (My friend had switched out of that class and gave me his textbook so I could return it to Ms. Nutball). However, instead of sending it to me, I sent it to my sister, and she showed my mom. So, that's how I got in shit.
My mom wasn't too pleased about it, and now that I look at it, I realize it was a tremendously stupid thing to do. I only did it because I was really mad after one particular class, and I never truly planned on slipping it in the book, however my friends kept suggesting it, so I only did it to shut them up.
Now that I'm in trouble for it, I can only assume that I'm going to get a stern lecture about it and maybe some extra housework and there is always a possibility I might not be able to use my computer.
TL;DR I wrote a nasty paper about my teacher and my mom found it.
I've never noticed this divide between blues and golds.
