Shit like this. Pixel graphic platformers with no gameplay, developed by hobbyists too lazy to innovate, so instead they decide to sell their game on nostalgia. The market is way too saturated with them. I'm pretty sure that at this point there are more games that are retro and use pixel art to cash in on the fad than games that are such for stylistic reasons.

It also costs 13 euro without the discount which is like 3-4 times as much as it should cost really.

Except this game is actually pretty alright, and the CRT TV visual thing is something I haven't seen done before and makes the tired pixel art vibe at least a little bit more interesting.
you can do that crt effect on any game using sweetfx
i think a game where you are a god and the goal is to get a religion of your own going and get as many followers as possible would be cool. not like some angry god either, but one who works in subtle and mysterious ways. youd start off by planting your divine seeds in the mind of your chosen one who you will have to test him to make sure his faith is strong because the world will ultimately be the real test of his faith, and as a god you wanna make sure your followers are devout. especially if its your first one.

there could also be other gods that r trying to start a religion and so you are competing against them to get yours to b e the biggest but none of u guys can overtly act u gotta remain mysterious and so everything plays out over a long time. also you have long term schemes and plots against your fellow gods too because you also want to rise in power from a dimensional god to a full fledge can do whatever the fuck god and that requires taking the others out too. imagine inciting your followers into jihad against another gods religion. that sounds like a fun game imo.
