Some Japanese are like that, it's kind of a stupid attitude really, it's mostly chavs and the special snowflakes on tumblr who get 'offended' over somebody breathing the same air that they do. Most Japanese do not really give a fuck.

I read this article about this asian college student tattoo artist and how he would put bad words on people who wanted kanji tattoos who weren't asian like "slut" and "small penis"..

I've read articles that say that apparently the same thing happens in Japan, and people will buy shirts with random English words on them because foreign lettering is cool.
