I use both. I have my JVC HA-RX900 headphones which sound pretty great, but they don't agree with my glasses for long term usage. The new frames I have are just wide enough so so my headphones press against the sides, so it feels strange and winds up hurting my ears. Then I have my crappy Logitech 5.1 system that's currently set up as a 2.1 system. I used to have my old Technics receiver + two large Fisher / two small Sony speakers and a Boston Acoustics subwoofer. That setup sounded soooo much nicer than my Logitech speakers. But Logitech's 5.1 systems are kind of weak to begin with, it's a case of 'you get what you pay for'. I need to repair the L/R balance on my old receiver, the little potentiometer needs to be cleaned or replaced. It likes defaulting to right channel, which in turn causes the left channel to produce a ton of static / popping noises. After a while I got tired of fiddling with it every half hour, so all of that stuff is in storage.

Same, I would use my headphones more (They're great) but it's less of a hassle to use my speakers so I prefer using the speakers instead.
I'm hoping to get some Audio Technica ATH-M50s for Christmas so that's probably gonna change what I use more, since they're REALLLY nice headphones

I either get a job with not enough hours, effectively making it useless, or a job with too many hours, effectively ruining any free time I might have.
