Also you need some form of alcohol and a cigarette, the flatcap and dress shoes is a part of the gopnik standard gear but isn't universal elsewhere. Dresiarzy for instance don't wear dress shoes usually.

I'm going to take an off day tomorrow so that I have 4 days' vacation in a row. The probies should be able to handle any problems that crop up, same as I had to this time last year.

If there's one video game I want, it would have to be Metroid Prime 1,2, and 3. I've only ever seen gameplay of it and it looks super fun. And the music is really great too. It's a shame the trilogy is like $100+ online though

im playing Super Mario 64 and I did most of the stuff in Floor 1 and it was really really great but now im on floor 2 and the game sucks

Lava Land was cool. im doing hazy Maze Cave and I have 2 stars from it but I don't really like this level. im not sure if I've been everywhere in floor 2 yet though [editline]19th October 2014[/editline] Hazy Maze Cave feels and looks rly generic compared to how unique floor 1 consistently was which is part of why I'm not enjoying it as much. its just a cave with spiders in it. [editline]19th October 2014[/editline] also is there literally any reason for Game Overs in this game because there seems to be zero penalty and all it means is after a bunch of deaths you have to re-navigate the castle again which is nothing but an inconvenience

If you really don't like the basement all that much, then just get 30 stars and beat the first stage of Dire Dire Docks, and that'll let you go to Bowser in the Fire Sea. The stages after that have a lot more variety.

i want to buy some usb snes/nes controllers because it seems both my snes and my nes don't output properly anymore set up this old crt and everything and it just doesn't work i guess

Most trade / hock shops sell old systems for relatively cheap (~$15 here) and most come with a controller. Try someplace like that?

It's a clunky design choice, but it was the first real 3D platformer and it was still coming off a time when most games had lives and game overs. So, there's not much reason, but it's an old design choice that stuck around and it didn't seem reasonable to remove it at the time.
