if you are hurting yourself all the time while playing your instrument you might have problems with your technique
I used to smash my fingers to shit all the time playing drums, and wouldn't ever notice until I started bleeding on my snare.
just gotta forget it and carry on, fucking rock n roll maaaaan
if you are hurting yourself all the time while playing your instrument you might have problems with your technique
My technique was playing as enthusiastically as possible. I don't really play anymore though.
Can great parody come from hatred of the source material, or only from a love for the original? Or is only a keen sense of comedy needed regardless of how you feel about the thing you're parodying?
I'm a dumbass that's given up.
Noice.
Tell that to him: [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/12/Albini_atp.jpg[/t]
Flea, the bassist for Red Hot Chili Peppers, once played so long and so hard during a show that his fingers were falling apart and they had to glue them up between songs and the crowd could hear him screaming from back stage but he still got out there and kept playing like a fucking champ.
A parody coming from hatred is going to be too inherently spiteful and negative to be any good.
Like that Twilight parody that's 90% fart jokes.
raccoons how wild
I KNOW right? Stop me before I do something REALLY nuts, like talk about Isabelle from Animal Crossing.
I feel like I maybe change my avatar more frequently than I should. I am a fickle man.
i cut my hand somehow while I was playing the drums earlier and now there is blood all over my sticks and snare, I think it might of been a blister im not too sure but now my finger hurts like hell
that's pretty metal
I believe I have finally pinpointed exactly what it is that I don't like about J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. I had originally thought it was overusage of CGi but after rewatching, there's definitely plenty of practical effects, and the CG isn't intolerable. It's not the setting or acting, everything is pretty much spot on. It's all the goddamn lense flares. Why are there so many lense flares, it looks terrible. And after a bit of googling, it appears Abrams admits that too. :v:
Finally fucking got my sword. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/SjnKoQz.jpg[/img_thumb]

Ugh, I want to crack this whip so badly, but not had a moment alone since I got it since it's a secret to everyone. Now I know what it's like to be an American, except with a whip rather than guns.

Got it, Tink.
A huge fucking house centipede just dropped from the ceiling into my bed. I'm not sleeping tonight.
