Fuck, I hate winter. Why can't I just hibernate and wake up in a few months?
Fuck, I hate winter. Why can't I just hibernate and wake up in a few months?
It's better than sweating your ass off
It's better than sweating your ass off
Sweat is less painful.
I dunno, I prefer being freezing over being too hot I'd rather feel numb than wet and disgusting plus you can only take off so much clothes
cold doesn't mean numb, cold means sore and unable to unbend your left leg after sleeping curled up in a ball for the whole night [editline]13th November 2014[/editline] anyway fuck that winter shit i'm into hazy and overcast but definitely warmer melbourne spring now http://www.bom.gov.au/vic/forecasts/melbourne.shtml fuckin' glorious
I need to escape from class.
Late by now, but you can always jump out the window next time.
I don't get how feeling like a corpse is better than some sweat. At least with sweat your body starts to feel good near instantly when going indoors unlike in cold weather where you still feel numb after being inside like ten minutes.

Cold + warm shower = Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmyes

I always feel disgusting and uncomfortable as shit i mean being numb from being cold sucks too but thats why you make hot chocolate or something
You feel good when you sweat?
Hot + cool shower = shaking like a leaf. Cold + warm shower = Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmyes
Warm weather + cold pool = great. Even if I'm sweating to death I'll usually take a lukewarm shower at coldest. Cold showers aren't good at all imo.
Warm weather + cold pool = great.
No argument there, but at the same time, cold weather + hot tub =fantastic
for me it's a whole lot easier to stay warm in winter than it is to stay cool in summer if you're getting cold outside wear some layers, at most your face and hands should be cold
I'll cast my vote for the cold is better party. I live in central Illinois, so 1/3 of my year is 90+ degree weather, 1/3 falls in the ideal 60s-70s range, and the last 1/3 is below freezing, and often below zero at that. While fall and spring are my favorite seasons since they're the perfect middle ground between hot and cold, I definitely prefer winter's freezing cold over summer's sweltering heat, for reasons previously stated. It's a lot easier to get warm when cold than it is to get cool when hot. Put on a sweater, get under a cover, boom you're done. And cool air is nice and crisp and easy to breathe, while warm air is heavy and humid and stuffy and no fun.
Come to Canada, last three years we've had anywhere from 2 to 3 feet of snow. Welp, failed programming lololooo [editline]13th November 2014[/editline] Calling it
Speaking of programming, we were tasked with making a point and click game for one of our projects. Since the moment it started it has been a downward spiral. First, I immediately dream up this idea for a game similar to Shadowgate, but I realized that I would have to seriously cut down on the amount of rooms and stuff in order to complete it in time. I scrapped the entire 2nd and 3rd floors of the planned castle, removed and sealed off entire wings and accidentally made the game fairly linear. I also described every single room and hallway with the utmost detail, using text only. We had 2.5 weeks to work on it instead of the planned 1 week, and it was due today. I only just started working on programming the damn thing so it works. So now, we don't have anymore class time to work on it, and I'll be sacrificing my 75 minute lunch period to work on the damn thing.
I didn't enjoy CompSci/game design nearly as much as I thought I would. TBH I'm glad I changed my major before this year, so that I wouldn't be in school for eight years.
I'm so glad I had a professor that turned me onto cyber security instead of comp sci
Does anyone else hate the word "cyber" with a passion?
ye, imo it's a word that should really only be used in scifi movies that are trying way too hard
Does anyone else hate the word "cyber" with a passion?
Only because I can't think about it anymore without thinking of either A. The first Scooby-Doo movie or B. Online "virtual sex" Not mixing the two, though
ratemyprofessors has some p great reviews my favorite professor has a bad review that says he's cocky, which I know for a fact is wrong and the reviewer only thinks that because they can't take a joke [editline]13th November 2014[/editline] also all of his reviews say he's too fast paced, but the classes of his that I've taken are the ones I do best in??
If I had not gave into cravings and indulged in selfish desires such as smoking, drinking, partying, gaming, unhealthy food/over-eating, watching TV and movies, etc. I'd have had so much more health, time and money to be with my loved ones before they died. I feel terrible about it now. Every day you spend doing something else is a day not doing what your heart desires, and we only live a certain number of days. The pleasures and possessions I chased were really empty, not fulfilling or providing permanent happiness. They were all temporary, and they did not really matter. I now see that family, friends, all people, and the time that we spend together is what's truly important in life.

Extremely hard to understand. Avoid." "Refuses to answer direct questions from the students. Works through problems on the whiteboard while ignoring over-arching concepts and principles. Does not come prepared to lecture the class beyond one small scrap of paper." "She was a true challenge at first. Her thick accent is hard to understand. She gets confused by questions and only goes over examples during class. She gets better later in the term as you start to understand her. She has a sense of humor. Frequently says "excuse me" for no reason and to no particular individual during class."
Went to an Intronaut concert. For a show that had maybe 50 people at it, three fights broke out. I was indirectly involved in two. What the Christ.
dear t mobile please push the android 5.0 update for my nexus 5 tia
Why did you buy that phone locked to a carrier?
it's not, I'm just waiting for them to push it OTA so I don't have to do a factory reset to flash the factory image [editline]13th November 2014[/editline] unless I'm totally misunderstanding what you meant there, I'm not totally up to date on phone terminology
