I'm late on the pizza discussion but I swear the US chains here have the same attitude to USD & GBP conversion that Steam has to EUR & GBP. Who in their right mind is going to pay £16.99 for an extra large pizza at Domino's? I can get the infinitely superior Pizza Express and 2 bottles of beer for the same price.
Yea Dominos is really expensive over here, but they have amazing deals which makes up for it. Two for 1's, 50% off if you spend over £40 (so you can spend £21 and get like 3 big pizzas or something) etc like their base prices are extortionate but if you're buying for you and some friends or whatever it's not too bad.

Came across an old man with alzheimer's at the traffic light heading for dinner with a friend. Because he was in military uniform, the guy waved at him, and asked to bring him home. Kept mixing up the blocks of 161 and 141, and since he speaks little chinese/english, we decided to call the cops. While waiting, he told us how he's the last of his family, has no relatives. Cops came, and found out he lived in another town about 20+ kilometers away, and kept talking about Old Folks home/Senior Citizens home. They took over and we left. Was rather depressing.

i mean it was an actually pretty good post about rock and the beatles and how they are not actually the best which i back but its a shame it was written by a 1/10 human being. didnt notice it was him who wrote it i am kind of impressed that it didn't devolve into mindless swearing and nerd-rage

The Beatles arguably were one of the most influential pop band in history IMO, I think it's fair to say that without them the 90's UK indie scene wouldn't [I]exist.[/I] That being said to call them influential and "the best" are 2 completely different things because one is objective and the other obviously isn't. Personally I find them a little boring but that can be put down to the fact that I basically heard all the stuff they influenced, it's a bit like eating flour instead of bread. Haven't read that post but I just checked out his tumblr page and there was a Family Guy macro so 0/10.
