So I bought Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen second-hand at GAME a few days ago, but when I opened the case there was only the regular version of the game in there. For those of you who don't know, Dark Arisen is an expansion pack that includes vanilla Dragon's Dogma plus all the previous DLC. So it's sort of like buying the GotY or Gold Edition of a game but not getting the extra stuff. Hopefully, I can go back and kick up a fuss enough that I can get the correct disks or just get something back. I already had the original version ages ago but got rid of it.
This week is going to be fucking hectic, I have 3 assignments due in and its tedious trying to organise times to actually complete them all at once.
Oh well, it was nice popping over to the girlfriends after college today. cheered me up :)
Oh! There's some nice bonuses if you ahve an save of OG Dragon's Dogma if you then play the Dark Arisen version. Neat! Will make a throwaway save to take advantage of this mistake.

Well, I made my save of Dragon's Dogma. It being a Japanese game I did the sensible thing of making my character a little girl. Then I remembered that it was designed around western tastes so I made her look like the ultimate edgelord and scarred all to fuck. It made the opening cutscene and boss "fight" hilarious. Little Miss Edgelord vs Huge Fuck-Off Dragon.
