People claim it's his best because it inspired Blade Runner but his best work by far was The Man in the High Castle IMO.
The Man in the High Castle was great, but was nowhere near as good as his later works like VALIS or A Scanner Darkly.

Homestar Runner has been pretty useful for virtual machine names. So far I've used Compy 386 for Windows 3.1, Lappy 486 for Windows 98, and Compé for Windows XP.
Moved into new house just now! Cat freaked out, poor thing. Shame he's gonna be stuck inside the house for a while so he can get used to living here. But the lazy fat old fart literally sleeps through half the day so whatever.
photos of your bedroom and immediate outside surroundings pls

As a guy who's been using "lappy-486" for several years on his laptop, the above is true. "Compé" sounds like it would be tough to do as a hostname.

Windows XP didn't like the sound of "TREVOR-COMPÉ", so I used a regular "E" instead.
Pics or it didn't happen.
The cat of course.
Photos of your house would be.
Creepy.
Actually I can get some photos of the house because its old and interesting, like it was built in 1920.
I took some pics of my (unfinished) room and my cat though. Upload is too slow because I got throttled after maxing my mobile data. So I'll do that tomorrow instead.

I need more Animal Crossing art in this style.
Was reminded about this story after reading in SH about a store in Beijing banning Chinese people.
A while ago, I was in Tokyo for a trip, mainly for Tokyo Game Show 2014 and a few other things. Coincidentally, we were there on the day Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire pre-orders started (September 20), so I went to the Pokemon Store, which happened to be right near our hotel. We were waiting in line, I'm just messing around on my phone. Later, my dad tells me how, while we were waiting in line, he actually saw a similar situation to the Apple Stores with the iPhone 6. Apparently, some Chinese dude tried to pre-order multiple copies of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and got into an argument with the store manager because it's limited to 1 of each per customer. And then I'm thinking: This isn't the Apple Store, alright?
For people who don't know what went on at the Apple Stores here, there were Chinese people buying lots of iPhones at once, mainly to resell them in China.
I bought Diplomacy 3 on sale, became PM of the United Kingdom within 5 minutes of purchase
I decided to cut pollution standards down to nothing and scrap recycling altogether for shits and giggles. Turns out I have no idea how economics works. In a couple turns my credit rating drops down from AAA, to AA, to A, to BB, to B, or something like that. I'm not even entirely sure if It went like that.
Why is the Environmentalist faction happy, and why do I have a 70% approval rating

I remember back when having just 2gb of ram was godly.
With all these people changing their FP usernames, how am I supposed to keep track of shitposters now?
I can never remember the difference between sentience and sapience. I know both of them deal with the ability to think, learn, and exercise reason, but there are subtle differences between both of them.

By their shitty posts.
Resident shitposters are resident shitposters regardless of their username.
If I ever learn how to model and port to Garry's Mod, I want to recreate the contents of old catalogs.
Imagine having model packs centered around RadioShack catalogs and department store wishbooks.
Dragon's Dogma: The game where a little girl can be whipped in a dungeon for being suspected of sleeping with the Duke's wife.
digimon
You'd need mods to get that shit in Skyrim.
