Yep.
Could have figured you would be a Lantern fan given your love of Marvel Cosmic, Kat.
If you're reading New 52 stuff, the Wonder Woman series is fantastic (well it was until the latest issue, RIP Chiang/Azzarello dream team), tho I am a bit biased cause Wonder Woman is my fave.

I've heard New 52 is almost all shit, cept for the stuff Geoff Johns wrote since he wouldn't let anybody retcon anything of his.
My best friend is super into DC, and he rants and raves all the time about how DC killed the Teen Titans (his favorite team) with the New 52 and how just seeing the logo makes him angry, and I'm able to bitch about the shitty new GotG stuff in return. It's a good relationship we have.
But yeah I was at the comic store today and I was asking about what trade books to pick up and I was steered clear of everything new 52 save the Green Lantern stuff. I assumed the reboot broke everything.

As I recall the only character to come out of new 52 better than he was before was aquaman.

Because Aquaman is the best.

Not all of the New 52 series is shit, Wonder Woman - like I mentioned, The Flash, Batman, Action Comics and Swamp Thing are all good series that are very much worth reading. There is some real trash in there though, the Constantine and Catwoman series come to mind (though the Catwoman series is looking more interesting now that they've changed the team behind it).
I'm more worried about how DC seem to force shit onto their creative teams, the Batwoman series was ruined because the creative team behind it were pushed away because DC wouldn't let them have Kate Kane marry her girlfriend (apparently not because of homophobic reasons but because they apparently didn't want any characters to marry or have steady relationships this early into the New 52 timeline, which is an even more stupid reason than a homophobic one, and hypocritical because they still keep forcing the Superman/Wonder Woman relationship, which I have many issues with in and of itself). So the team said they'd leave after finishing their current arc in issue 26, but obviously something happened, because issue 24 is the last issue with the original team (and it ends on a cliffhanger, eugh) and issue 25 is a tie-in issue to the Year Zero Batman event (why Batwoman needs to be mentioned in Bats' origin story I have no idea). Batwoman is really worth reading up to issue 24 though, it is fantastic, the art in particular is really spectacular.

Also yes, that is Wonder Woman and it's the best arc in the series because her and Batwoman fight a fucking hydra.
My mug has a sweater.

i did it
I remember hearing about a Kickstarter project for a "gaming desk" with built in outlets and a mousepad tabletop and stuff, but the guy received too many pledges and ran into trouble with producing them. Does anyone remember the name? I'm doing a thing about kickstarted for class, and I was going to use it as an example of overfunding. Unless someone can provide a different/better example.
Good bye beard. You shall not be missed.
I enjoy having facial hair, but when it gets thick like it did over the last month, it annoys me while I'm sleeping.
Seinfeld is my favorite slice of life anime.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is CLEARLY the better anime.
Corner Gas is the only anime I need
Corner Gas is the only anime I need
Too bad they stopped making episodes :(
On the other hand, we're getting a movie so whooo!
I would un-ironically love to see the cast of Corner Gas drawn in anime style
that way people can finally see Brent for the waifu he is

I wonder how long until ww3
Its only a matter of time and humankind is not going to change until its too late
that's an extremely pessimistic outlook
that's an extremely pessimistic outlook
I just feel like everybody knows that we are killing ourselves but we keep sweeping it under the rug. Something should be done about it.

Still obscenely pessimistic and nothing really nowadays points to it happening any time soon dude
Is it too early for Christmas avatars?

Honestly I think it's more likely we'll just have a bunch of cold wars and proxy wars.

Even 100 years is still way too soon. And i wouldnt be surprised if it happened in 30 years. Its just that all leaders only ever think about the next election cycle, not the future of humanity as a whole. Shit should change. Somehow. I dont know.
there's probably a greater acknowledgement of the necessity of peace now than there's ever been
