Anyone else having trouble maintaining Xbox Live connection?
I honestly believe Q is one of the biggest television villains ever. I mean, for Christ's sake, he enacted the wrath of the Borg on the Alliance. The Borg themselves are enough of a horror on their own.
Honestly I just care about the Dinobots. I don't know if you noticed. They all sucked but I just can't stand Shia LeBouf. [editline]19th December 2014[/editline] Does anyone know much about dog wormer? My pup has worms pretty bad and I don't have much money so what's the best wormer I can get for relatively cheap?
Oh, well, yeah, the dinobots were probably the only good part about AoE. Everything else, the acting, the action, the plot, it was all just awful.
I wish that I had a steam card or got one within the next 24 hours, 20$ steam card I could get PA AND From the Depths. Being a teenager sucks when you have no credit card, looking forwards to when I finally get one in 300 years.
I honestly believe Q is one of the biggest television villains ever.
Tbh I feel like comparing characters from different universes has always been pretty pointless. Any writer can give any character any abilities they want. It's context that matters, and when you take it out of context it's just silly. E.g. Goku vs Superman shit.

Without Q, Starfleet would have encountered the Borg when the two sides would eventually naturally meet, and due to the Borg's ever-advancing nature and tech, would have easily assimilated Starfleet ships and crippled the Federation. One Cube nearly did when Picard became Locutus. By giving Starfleet a taste of the Borg early, this gave the Federation the need and knowledge to develop systems to fight the Borg effectively, as well as receive punishment for their hubris and understand their position in the galaxy better. It was a tough gift, but still a gift for the fledgling species.

Other than lessons learned by Q, he's still a massive, rotten dick. For example, the very first episode, putting humanity on trial for its actions in the past. But of course, that could have been a way of coercing the crew of the enterprise into proving themselves worth of the Q's influence.

Any time he interferes in humanity's affairs he simply sets them on a course that requires them to prove their ingenuity, wisdom, insight, or other traits to emerge victorious, and there is always a way in his tests. He's simply testing humanity's drive to prove itself worthy of persisting in the galaxy while having fun at the expense of others, since the Q have long evolved past struggles for power with other races. He's a walking deus ex machina, but not a direct villain like the Cardassians or the Borg.
As soon as today is over, I am done for the weekend and then only have 2 and a half days left THEN 11 DAYS OFF. TODAY CANNOT GO QUICK ENOUGH!

Nerds. [sp]Disregard the fact that I'm trying to build my own lightsaber.[/sp]
I'd really like to know about the Borg's beginnings, or at least what happened to them that they became what we know them to be: a collective of cyborgs hell bent on consuming alien civilizations and their technology. I know they sought perfection over everything else, but was it something radical that caused them to no longer care about the well being of others? Or was it their collective thoughts coming to a consensus on what mattered to them most?

Credit cards are nothing but bad news, boyo. Hell of a lot better than the V'Ger theory. I can't recall the details of it anymore, sadly.
Pretty relaxed day today for a last day at college till we split for christmas break miss first lesson due to teachers absense, meaning I get to go in at 2pm, shweeeeet

[editline]19th December 2014[/editline] but I also thought of the probe in that one ToS episode that mentioned voyager 1 (or 2)

i didnt really care about the bb voice swtch but sutherland stands out and makes everyone sound really bad in comparison now. miller sounds just as clownish as hayter made bb sound.
I can't wait for the weekend, gonna get all my christmas shopping done!
i didnt really care about the bb voice swtch but sutherland stands out and makes everyone sound really bad in comparison now. miller sounds just as clownish as hayter made bb sound.
yea I personally think the switch was a good one cos Hayter would not suit the tone of GZ at all and probably not TPP either. Plus come TPP it's been 20 years since Hayter-BB and Ocelot has had like 3 voice actors play him lmao
I'm cool with anything as long as Kojima still wants David Hayter to voice act, well, David :v:
wow damn my eyes swelled up like heck last night. i cant see much :(
Odd how quite a few mythologies have brother/sister marriages with their major deities. Ancient people were wierd.

It's a little funny how we don't often even realize that significant taboos were non-existent in human society but a few hundred years ago.
Firefox is fucking crashing every time I restart it what the fuck
I'm playing Metro: Last Light after getting it on PS+ a while back, this is the first time I've enjoyed an FPS in a good year or so, not rly a genre im into but this is just fantastic and I love it a lot are the other Metro games as great as this one??
The first one, Metro 2033 is a very good game, arguably better in some ways, but it's jankier than Last Light. Unless you go for the remastered version, of course.
oh there's only 2 games I thought there was like 3, but that's cool I will look into getting 2033 then. I won't be able to get the remastered version since I dont have a PS4/XBone tho
