i think one of those virtual social cues i never picked up on until just recently was that when someone makes a comment on your profile you are supposed to reply on their profile and not your own profile (profiles like here on facepunch or steam)

The best way to do something like this is just to write down everything that comes to mind. Every goddamn idea, just jot it down. Don't judge the idea at all.
Once you have a bunch of ideas on the paper, you can pick and choose as necessary.

I'm glad I've gotten better with self control. Stuff's a lot easier when you know when to pick your battles.
