Right now I might be aware of my self. But knowing my track record I will just dive right back into being delusionally unaware again in a matter of a few days, weeks, a month at most.
I have given up everything, opinions, beliefs, interests, and recently, my identity. Tried to just remove all that fluff, I wanted to see myself as who I really am. I wanted to find myself. I found nothing.
Since I was a baby, I have just been observing and imitating. All there is about me are just fragments of other people I have encountered throughout time. I can recognize every little bit of me as something I have gotten from other people.
Thought my lack of originality and poor execution of concepts was limited to my shameful excuse for "art" and "programming" Turns out my entire being reeks of that.
I don't know if I just did a "I can't see the forest from the trees!" thing or if I really am shit even by shit standards.
I could elaborate much more on this, but I don't know if it would make a difference. It's just all the people around me have some unique traits in their personality and it just seems that I lack any sort of defining character.
I mean, welcome to being human. We all do that, we pick up, process and add quirks and traits from other people into ourselves, especially with close friends and significant others. I can trace all my regular oddities and the way i talk and the phrases i use to all of my friends and exes and stuff over the past six or so years and even some of you have rubbed off on me. It's nothing really to be concerned or upset over nor is it a bad thing. We're simply an adaptive and iterative species. It's how we grow and it's how we evolve.
