I would go to bed now, but I've been periodically sleeping throughout yesterday so fuck it. I'm staying up for breakfast.

Can't decide to whether post art on Tumblr or Livejournal. Tumblr's devolved into a (still useful) shithole while Livejounrnal has been pretty quiet for a long time now.
Kid brother got VAC banned again yesterday, probably aimbots or something in Gmod. Smart kid.
You sure it was because of gmod? As far as I know the only thing you can get VAC banned for in gmod are modules blacklisted by garry (e.g. baconbot back in gmod 12).
Yep me to and my holidays end tommorow and I'm gonna have like literally twice as much work to do as before my holidays.
Oh well, it's only for a month or two.
I wonder how Ash Ketchum and his friends would survive passing through a ghetto town to get to the next gym

They would call for Brock to come back during that episode.

A friend from high school added me on Facebook. ....aaaaaaaand she already has a kid (she's 20/21 years old). I thought she was more reserved than that.
my gf has a kid
Phew, lucky as shit. I had spilled some soup on my keyboard yesterday and was freaking out about it. Left it upsidedown on a towel overnight to dry and it seems to still work fine. Thank fuck, I don't think I'd have been able to afford a proper replacement for awhile
A mechanical keyboard seems really nice, but I'm not sure if shelling out $100+ for one is worth it.

something to keep in mind when you spill something on anything electric is to unplug that shit asap
most electronics can deal with a moderate amount of water as long as there's no electric current running through it, fucking shit up

I think it's plenty worth it. The feeling between using a mechanical with the switches you like versus regular membranes is like a night and day difference for me. They feel great and the level of customization is fantastic, being able to change keycaps to suit whatever you feel like.

Is there any paparticular brand that's most reliable or are they all going to be similar enough?
Is there any paparticular brand that's most reliable or are they all going to be similar enough?
They'll mostly be similar enough. I would avoid Razer mechanicals though cuz the people I know who've bought them usually have them break on them in kind of a short time. Really though you just gotta look at whatever keyboard design and construction seems to suit you most, plus whether or not they have the switches you want.
Corsair makes some fantastic keyboards with really solid construction. I know a lot of people also swear by the Vortex Poker II. Look around though! There are a ton of good options
woo, my replacement gtx 970 arrived. now i have two strix 970 boxes.

I wish all the other things I had talent and passion for weren't so goddamned expensive. Like I love metalworking and woodworking and especially blacksmithing but all of those things, again especially blacksmithing, cost a TON of money.
Anyone have any advice for independently brushing up on math knowledge? I'm starting up in programming and I'm really struggling, and I'm also starting school in a few months and I want to place as well as I can so I don't have to spend extra time and money in pre-pre-pre-requisite math classes.
You know how people say your dreams mean something and stuff? I have no fucking clue what "my dream had Khan from Star Trek, a blue Xenomorph with Tyranid colors and some random jackoff fighting a living room with mouths and tentacles" is even supposed to mean.

Maybe try Khan Academy?
Started watching Generation Kill, it's really great so far.
Man, sometimes i love cleaning out my computer. Just went from 64 gigs of space left to 225.
I did the same a few nights ago, went through uninstalling all the Steam games I'll never play. Managed to free up close to 500gb.
My HDD is really small, my PC being built from a computer made for web browsing, that even with my unplayed games uninstalled I still don't have a lot of space left.
Usually purging my Garry's Mod of addons helps though.
I'm not used to having half a terabyte like I do in my PS4.
Sometime in the future I probably will overhaul my computer.
I also need to just clean out my hard drive of old files I don't need.
I have a 4TB HDD dedicated to my games.
About half of it is taken up right now :v:

Ancient or Modern?
A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages.

And do not damage the oil and the wine!

Ancient. School homework. Xenophon and Arrian.
