Borderlands 1 feels subpar at best, I've only played a little bit but the gun diversity seems so limited and that's the only thing holding up Borderlands 2 at all so

There's tons of other pretty damn good and funny writing and apparently Axton saying "Cool story, bro." sometimes ruins it completely, like can people just not look past one tiny reference to an internet meme or what?
The thing is, Borderlands 2 didn't even need memes to have terrible writing.
The soundtrack is hella good though, Jesper Kyd can do no wrong.

The only parts of writing I really liked was mostly anything involving Handsome Jack; he was pretty much the best character in the game. Everything else was either just meh (the main characters) or just plain bad (Claptrap, but I guess that's intentional.)
I can't fucking stand Claptrap, he shits me to tears, probably my least favourite character in anything.
I thought Tina had her hilarious moments, if being kind of over the top every other time but yeah, Handsome Jack was awesome. And i loved Krieg's video.
I have this idea of a singing acapella quartet of robots, and I tried to make Mr.Sandman, but I never got further than the introductory "bom bom bom"s.

I'll say one thing, that movie succeeds in its goal. Very much so. I don't think I'll ever be able to watch another "scary" movie (not monster-scary, but like, you know what I mean) without thinking it was made for children. Shit provokes you. Big time.

The 2nd Law was an alright album, its main problem was that the majority of it was just completely forgettable. I really wanted to like the two songs Chris Wolstenholme took the lead vocals on, but Save Me is really, really boring and Liquid State never really goes anywhere.
Animals is one of my favourite Muse songs now, though.

The Resistance is a god awful album though. Like how they'll never be as good as their first three albums, Muse will probably never be as bad as The Resistance again (I hope).
Not a huge fan of Muse but Hysteria is a fucking awesome song.

You know what the biggest problem with Bethesda games is? Modding them. I'm trying to install Requiem for Skyrim and it's taken me probably an hour or so because i have to fuck around with mod manager and download all this other bullshit and watch this fucking 20 minute tutorial on how to use it all. I just want shit to work goddamnit.
Making music mods for Payday 2 is really fun when they loop well.
