fun fact: The word 'reverend' occurs only once in the Holy Bible.
I got Worms 2 Armageddon for Android for only $1 and the controls are pretty good.
Better than I thought they would be.

one of these days I'll have to read the bible just so I can say I've done it
Something odd happened last night. I was laying down in my bed, and woke up around 2:00am and was thirsty as shit. Didn't move though because I was still waking up, and while laying in my bed, I felt the presence of someone walking past my door, and then heard this hush voice say, "In... Out... Back out again..." and then whatever presence was near my door pretty much vanished. I obviously freaked out, and jumped up, but didn't want to make to much noise, so I got a quick drink of water, and then walked out into the living room to see my niece fast asleep with one of my dad's CAT work-hats next to her. Nothing abnormal, so I figured I would go ask my dad if he was outside my room. When I got in there, he was fast asleep, and the same CAT hat that was in the living room was now on my parent's bed. My dad was somewhat awake, and I asked him what the hell was going on, and he was clueless, so I walked back to the living room, locked the door, and looked at the couch to see that the CAT hat next to my niece was gone.
This set off all sorts of alarms in my mind, and I walked down to my sister's room to see if she was awake, and she was fast asleep.
I asked my mom just a few minutes ago if she was awake around two, and she told me no. She then mentioned that when she walked past my room, I was mumbling random things, and then started shrieking at random. Oddly enough, I do recall this event, but my recollection of it was that I was asking her to turn on the heater because my room was freezing cold....
I do like to believe in the paranormal, but fuckin' hell, this is the first "what the fuck" events I have had since I was 14.

the combat looks turn based. i'm a bigger fan of action rpgs like fallout, skyrim and borderlands. i think the writing and voice acting would be the hardest part to nail and this is where borderlands really shines. i love that it doesn't take itself too seriously.
this happened last night and i posted this in the happy thread but oh my god its still making me laugh
How come YouTube supports 1440p resolution but not 60 fps?
Probably because people actually have 1440p monitors while for the most part 60fps in videos tends to just be a waste of space usually. (Which is something Youtube needs to be conscious of with the millions of videos it stores.) Youtube supporting 60fps would double the amount of storage they would need.
1 mil = 1 meter width/height at 1,000 meters
width/height of target in meters divided by width/height of target in mils, multiplied by 1,000 = distance to target
finally, a practical use for math

Said videos would also need to be 60FPS. A large majority do not have this specification. But I'll keep my fat butt parked here on this 1280x1024 monitor but an even larger resolution would be nice. 5:4's a nicer ratio to me than something absurd like 16:9 or 16:10.
16:9 is love

Why would they need to be 60fps? Resolution and framerate aren't intrinsically linked. And the majority don't have 1440p or higher resolution monitors but they're becoming more common lately.
And aspect ratio is personal preference really. 5:4 feels claustrophobic to me. All three of mine are 16:9 and that feels about perfect to me.
anything but 16:10 is practically torture
