Those thing are on the OUTSIDE(Glass bottom too) of the thing and it takes about 30 seconds to up to the top from the ground floor

I tried the one in Sheffield before, they move pretty slow (slower than the average elevator, but since they don't stop it takes less to reach the destination) there is a light on each one which glows green when it is safe to get off, I found it to be really fun.

A window at the Marriott Marquis down in Atlanta. It's only a mere forty something floors and it's terrifying at the speeds the elevators go. That picture wasn't even the top floor and looking down you still can't see the lower balconies.

I agree, I had the same reaction when I got my gaming computer and booted up a lot of my games.
Had the same thing happen when I got a 1920X1080 monitor which is a step up from my 1024X768 monitor I had before.
also, emulating kingdom hearts 2 is crazy
being able to do all of this when it was only for "other people" is crazy

For example, typewriters are typed out first using that swinging LED strip like you see on prize clocks in a Dave & Busters before being committed onto print. Or phonographs where instead of vinyl, records are large LaserDiscs using an optical laser instead of a needle. Et cetera. There's a criminal ring importing contraband booze from Earth (if you want to also imagine this, like the whole Mississippi River boundary). Humanoid automatons still restricted to a base or a rail serve the humans as waiters, mechanics, what have you.
