I'll have my iPhone 4 for taking photos, 5MP camera and 720p video, it's pretty good.
I'd really like to go as I live extremely close (Derby) but my parents would never let me.
My DSLR takes high quality video, I could take my dads camera for even more HD smexiness aswell.
i shall be bringing my DLSR and my little compact for video.
I'm going with some mates in about a week. We're pitching up in his parents caravan spot so we don't even have to pay for a space. We'll probably do a spot of mountain climbing (Scafell pike and Skiddaw), swimming, long walks and cave exploring. Should be good.
Gotta get the 05:04 bus from Camden Road to Euston. That means getting up at 4 and leaving at 4:50 ouch!
2hr drive to the station. Train leaves at 6:20. I'm going to be up well before 4am, if I even bother going to bed that is...
2 hour drive to the station? What station are you going to? jeez!
Leeds. Probably about 1h15m drive actually, but the middle of Leeds on a Monday morning ain't gonna be pretty.
i shall be arriving with hezzy on the monday (coming down from scotland on the sunday so i can actually be there for a half decent time) and leaving on the weds morning. would anyone be able to give me a lift to windermere on the wednesday, my train leaves at 10.49. i will give you petrol money if you like, it's just i'm looking at info for the buses and they seem to be few and far between, and aren't really something i'd like to rely on...
The joys of the English countryside, eh? :v:
haha, well indeed. although now it turns out i shalln't be staying with hezzy on the sunday - his girlfriend isn't cool with me staying in the spare room or whatever - so i'll probably be turning up on the monday afternoon about 3pm, as was my plan before. i still need to mull it over though
Ah, new thread. There'd better be an ATM somewhere, I've only got a small amount of spendable money.
Ah, new thread. There'd better be an ATM somewhere, I've only got a small amount of spendable money.
Petrol stations usually have them.
http://weathernews.co.uk/pinpoint/index.cgi?areaCode=72402&cityName=Grizedale Weather forecast has gotten better, so hopefully (touch wood) we'll have some nice weather. Won't be a scorcher, but will be pleasant. Chance to rain has decreased by 20% and the temperate prediction has raised by about 5 or 6 degrees.
huzzah!
Genuinely excited, this is better than christmas.
Genuinely excited, this is better than christmas.
And you're only coming for a day :v: It's gonna be awesome.
Leeds. Ah well, too late now.
yay new people
Autumn, do you want this stove top then?
Makes me wish I could live in the UK
Leaving now. Have a good time!
Cheers. Have fun in the Galapagos! [editline]12:14PM[/editline] Any suggestions for food to buy? Going shopping today. Anything we need/you suggest?
If you can get a rounders/softball set that'd be good.
