I'm still definite about going to setterthwaite again next year but I definitely think we should give somewhere else a go the year after.
Yeah, 'year after year' only being twice. We've found a good spot in a good area that we are all familiar with, it just saves on a lot of hassle if we all know the drill.

It's in a terrible location, miles from anything along the lines of medical, convienience and entertainment. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it and I have no problem with going there again but why do we have to give those travelling from the north the advantage when there are people in the South West and South East who cannot possibly afford/have the time to get to the lakes.
Because most of the people down south get to have the london meetups which take near fuckall planning except for the train tickets.
London meetups are just a casual day out, the camping is a totally different experience.
Well organise something major between yourselves for another time then. It'd most likely be restricted since getting down there from north is damned expensive and fiddly.

Here in the US, if you've got cellphone reception it's hardly even considered camping. Stay in the same spot, it seems perfect.
Ben, shove Dartmoor up your ass then clean it with dettol. I love the camping site we stayed at this year. It was friendly, everyone was nice and I personally didn't have a single problem with how far away it was. Camping is meant to be out in the woods, not with a bunch of arcades and shops everywhere.
I wish I could have gone, but I'm too busy with cadets at the moment.
Which cadet force? I was on annual camp with Air Cadets when this happened.
Combo breaker before I could join in :(

Whoopsie.
