I'm going to Tesco later tonight, I'll see what kind of sports gear I can get from there
Good luck to everyone.
I have officially left to go camping. Currently staying in Newcastle with APWD007 and Jon Taylor for the weekend, then heading to the campsite on Monday.
Things I have forgotten to bring so far:

Towel

Walking boots

Wellies
Hahaha oops
Theres a point, if I remember to bring anything then it should be a towel and some decent boots.
I have no room for wellies or hiking boots :saddowns:
Your feet, perhaps?

Anyone got an actual address of the campsite? Also, I saw Bengley was on about phone numbers, mine is 07794451530
There's only one campsite in Grizedale

If in doubt, follow signs for Grizedale Visitor centre and then head south
Is there anyway for Bengley to charge his camera on site? Is there a way to sweet talk the owners into letting him charge it?
i am bringing marshmallows, fear not!
"Don't worry Acezorz, in just a few days you'll be sitting around a campfire with Hezzy eating delicious hot schmoes!"
Gah, week is turning out shit, wish I'd decided to bother coming to this now :saddowns: looks like it's gonna be fun.

There is plugs in the washing/first aid room (as far as I remember) but I assume you're only expected to use them for a couple of minutes while you're in there.
Stealthy 'hiding camera behind a sink' is required.
You can get small battery packs that you charge from but I know the one I used to take camping (bought from a camping shop) was quite expensive, might not be worth it.
Dunno what camera he's got but mine usually lasts a full week of use on a single charge.
My DSLR lasts ages, but my video camera has a 50 minute battery life.

Are you going to shoot 50+ minutes of footage? Nobody will watch it :v:
I'll probably shoot a minute or two here and there, it will probably end up being the same length as the facepunch meetup videos (9 mins)
Well I just bought all my food, some comfy footwear, a magazine for the train journey and a stove.
10 packs of chicken flavored noodles for 10 pence. Deal of the century.
Where did you get those noodles
Theyre "Sainsburys Baisics Chicken Flavored Noodles".
I bought 30 of them when I went on a cycling holiday with my family last year.
i have those too! they're not half bad. i could only get one pack though because the rest were out of stock.
You mean they're 1p a pack?
ASDAs self branded curry pot noodles are good and cheap as well as their noodles, I would bring lots of those with me.
