Rounders is one hand on the bat, baseball is two.

Really? I honestly never knew that, I've always played with two hands :unsmith:

I suppose it depends on what bat you use. Proper rounders bats are pretty small compared to baseball bats, I think.
I'd love to go to one of these meetups, but I don't have the username for it.
"Yeah, my username on Facepunch is... Er..."
Oh yeah, and the stupid parents don't help my cause much either.

By the time the event actually occurs, the other attendees would know your name anyway due to the preparation and organization required.
I'll hopefully go next year.
I just got back from a camping trip of my own, it's good fun.

It's true for any being with common sense and a little logic, common courtesy, just ask.
Heck, I'd feel as if I was insulting someone if I referred to them IRL by an online alias.
i was there for 2 days and knew most but not all people's names.
Just got back and feckin left my boots.
Shit was hilarious though, I can't wait for either next years or one of the london meetups.
Did anyone pick up my blue speaker?

Does your mum know you have such a rude avatar???
Also I just got in now, rediscovering technology like a caveman. As we speak I am typing this by banging a club on my keyboard

Haha!
I've been waiting in all these threads for this.

It's a fad, but don't tell anyone :ssh:

And no one was any wiser :ninja:
100 nak babe, good choice acezors.
Dave spent a whole day just asking everyone where it was. :v:
Georgie has daves speakers. Its now pissing it down here. Sat in the car to stay dry now all the tents are down. Waiting on people to return from the pub. Will probabaly leave early.
Probably best to go to Windermere, more to do there than the camp site. There's a cinema down the road from the train station, too. Head left out the door, take the first left on the roundabout and it's somewhere along the main road towards the promenade. It's showing Toy Story and Shrek in 3D. Also plenty of shops! GeorgINA can take you all shoe shopping. Fabulous!!!
Shoe shopping? In bowness and windermere? Don't make me laugh. Unless you're looking for £150 antique shoes you won't find squat.
Last time I was in Windermere I think my girlfriend still managed to drag me around a shop with clothes or something in, my brain turned off
God I remember my holiday in the Lake District... Spent almost everyday using the wireless in Starbucks while parents looked at antiques :c00l:
you're cool.
Right, gotta go see the doc about these tick bites now. Wish me luck :ohdear:
Cosmic Camp is now Cosmic Home.

Dave, Jonny has your speakers, he's at Kendal Calling with you, and i gave him your number so he'll probably ring you and then arrange a place to meet and give it to you.
Did anyone pick up my washing up set? It was a tan bucket with a green sponge and yellow cloth in it.

Also I got lucky with the ticks, all the big ones had fallen out completely and I just had a bunch of weak little ones left in.
Also, I've somehow managed to get a sunburn on my arms.
i got slightly burnt when we played rounders, and i have a nice bruise on my knee :P
