I put in my new headlights and they look AWESOME :D I'll do pic tomorrow.
Cleaned out my egr valve the other day since I think it was sticking open a little, it seems to have helped a little with this stumbling hesitation I've been having under 3k rpm... but I think I introduced a vacuum leak or something because now the idle is like unstable/rough. I thought maybe I screwed up the gasket on reinstallation so I replaced it again and there was no difference. So I guess the next thing to try is to start replacing vacuum lines...
This was thursday, but my neighbor and I secured a 2.2 ecotec for the new midget we're building, gonna go all out on the build. [t]http://puu.sh/6GXob.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/6GXp7.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/6GXqN.jpg[/t] 2.2 liters of pure all aluminum sex

No wait, that's not his car. That's a Ch... a C... fucked if I know, it's an American car that starts with a C. Whatever it is I'm just going to call it Cube's car bugger the lot of you.
Managed to strip a bolt/nut on my rear wheel hub yesterday :( Going over to my mechanic buddy in about 2 and a half hours to get it fixed, though.
Managed to strip a bolt/nut on my rear wheel hub yesterday :( Going over to my mechanic buddy in about 2 and a half hours to get it fixed, though.
dont worry its an easy fix, my 240 came with 1 stripped, one broken, and I broke like 3 on my old car. remove bad lug, install new one, tighten it down with an open lug nut.

Passenger power window motor and courtesy bulbs for both door controls replaced!
took off my power window getting out of the garage yesterday Luckily it still stays on with some persuasion. I think I can take it out and just superglue the plastic bits back togethor and it'll be fine

The rest of the assembly went pretty smooth (adjusting my chain is a bitch, though), so now I have new sprockets and a new chain on my bike, ready for another 7k km!
didnt realize you were talking about a bike until now lol
Grrr new headlights No more yellow tint and no more zip ties
Well, while Manning was throwing the big game, I decided it was a joke to watch any further. I printed a vinyl emblem for my swamp cooler today, and it came out pretty good. It looks legit. I also made a bracket for the cooler to hang on the window channel out of a simpson tie for a 6x6. I bent it, cut it, and sanded the galvenized coating off the top, then shot it with some polyurethane clear. Even that part turned out legit looking. It was awful.
Do you have any material between the glass and metal to avoid scratches?
Took my spare set of headlights which I switched out of my car for ones that I had "professionally restored" and cleaned the hell out of them. I'm going to be looking into the best solution to updating my projectors since they were designed over 20 years ago now. I'm thinking some ZKW-R lenses, Morimoto 3five bulbs and completely sanded, buffed, UV sealed front lenses all resealed up like brand new this decade headlights. I'm gonna have to do research into this but I'm definitely buying some good shit from TheRetrofitSource.
Fixed a broken hook on my sun roof. Installed good-condition sunroof visor. ~***VINTAGE***~
I'm gonna go home and jury rig a smoke test system to find the vacuum leak plaguing my jeep. if I can get this fixed, I can finally get it emissions tested and finally get a tag for it. Nearing the end of my 30 days to get a tag...
I'm gonna go home and install my new speakers. I had taken out the stock Infinity Gold shit; the speakers were pretty much rotted through. I've also gotta figure out how to wire up my rack mounted driving lights; I swear I followed my diagram perfectly but something just isn't working. I think what I may end up doing is just wiring it directly to my fuse box with my power leads for the relay and toggle switch going to one of the hot leads.
Do you have any material between the glass and metal to avoid scratches?
I'm consistently testing different foam/ padding stuff to see which one works the best and looks good. Not really done till I can mount it and leave it. These are only test fits so far. I think neoprene or something similar will wind up being the final threshold. Just shoot it all over till the car runs like crap, or dies. Then there's the leak.
Went and took my test today for my next level of cert at work. I now am the proud owner of the title "MECP Master Certified" Dis patch comes in the mail soon
Hard-wired in my radar detector because fuck dangling wires. Also added two LED light strips that illuminate my driver and passenger foot wells a deep blue because I like accent and ambience lighting when it matches and it's not excessive. It matches the blue illumination of my gauge cluster, and the blue theme on my Pioneer DVD player.
So I made my car JDM tyte and painted the center panel like our brethren across the sea with their 180SX. It's a shade of dark metallic gray, close enough lol. If only I could do the same for the rest of the shell
Grand Cherokee worst sound system ever??
Yepp. I need to wait for a drill though, I can't mount my speakers just yet.

If you didn't I think it would look pretty good to tie those both together in color.
I mounted my $110 part now :v: Excuse the filthy engine bay, I still really need to clean it out.
