Your engine bay is cleaner than the interior of my car....
:( It really is though, there's a layer of dirt all over the whole thing. My phone camera just burns whites and disguises that it needs a bit of a wash. If you look at the shock tower or header heatshield you can see the dirt. My car has tan interior so to me it always seems dirty as well.. I've only seen just a few of these before online on any car and surprisingly one was somewhat local. The only other car I've seen it on recently other than in a for sale thread I happened to buy it off of :v: [t]https://scontent-a-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/t1/1622787_652614144802731_1478053892_n.jpg[/t] I just did a search and I can only find 4 of these so that leads me to believe there's probably less than 20. AllInFab doesn't even exist anymore so that makes it even more rare I suppose. There were a few black ones too. These are from the guy who owns the following car. [t]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o35/z6civicex/IMG_20121117_140205.jpg[/t] [t]http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2427/5752685256_ae2f5f9e7d_z.jpg[/t][t]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o35/z6civicex/sparkplugcoverinstalled.jpg[/t] This guy also had one. So today I had no work or school so I took it upon myself to do a small project. The last owner of my Galant hit a dog, so the weak plastic grill was fucked and i'm going to replace it anyway, so I decided "whatever, i'll do the mesh mod and see how it turns out." The only thing is that I have no mesh, so i'm going to hold off on that until I can go to the junkyard and just completely replace the grill and then it'l turn out much much better - because i'm going to replace it I think i'm going to paint this one black and leave just the red Mitsubishi logo. Before: After: I think i'll paint it black tonight and see how it turns out and take a picture tomorrow morning.

DONE THE RIGHT WAY [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/IMG_0134.JPG[/t]
Jesus Christ dude, if this is your room what the hell is wrong with you. That is absolutely disgusting. I'm sorry, but that is horrible. You can't take even 30 minutes to just throw out all that trash, I can't imagine what must be living in that room right now.
I think he's talking about the BIGROUND upgrade for wires, and all the wires and stuff hanging about that he is intending to tuck away.
That reminds me. I need to get the billet engine bay dress up kit and tuck some wires as well...
So today I went and picked up my 1963 VW Beetle. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/VW%20Beetle/IMAG0466.jpg[/t] Literally. Picked up. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/VW%20Beetle/IMAG0467.jpg[/t] [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1031910/VW%20Beetle/IMAG0471.jpg[/t] I will enjoy the parts I get off her, or will make it into a lets go crash into shit buggy. Best 50$ ever spent.
I think he's talking about the BIGROUND upgrade for wires, and all the wires and stuff hanging about that he is intending to tuck away.
Uhh, on my car? That's how the engine bay looks stock.. Everything is out there and really easy to get to. There's really not anything to the engine bay. If you delete A/C, P/S, Cruise Control, ABS and the windshield washers you're really left with nothing but the engine harness, chassis harness and the radiator/coolant hoses. I happen to enjoy all 5 of those things since those are what make my car an Acura and not a Honda.
Painted the broken grill black, it'l have to do until I can buy a new one and do the proper mesh mods with it. At least it doesnt look blatantly broken now.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/Nyk2kwu.jpg[/t]
HOLY SHIT DUDE No wonder your audi has so many problems, you are absolutely destroying that car. It was barely even designed to tow a bike rack let alone a loaded trailer. Why would you even attempt that.
After driving on it a few days I have concluded that cleaning the egr solved absolutely nothing. Still hesitates just the same. Replaced five feet worth of vacuum lines, didn't help either... and in the process I broke off the barb on the MAP sensor (using pliers to twist a frozen hose loose works on metal but don't try it on plastic just cut the old line off...), so I go to a parts store and it's in their system for $589.99... NOPE. Get home, check dealer price, $367.33... look it up on rockauto, $301.79... NOPE. I guess this sensor is made of fucking gold or something, I have no idea. Ebay has them for like $20 though so I'm gonna order one of those and I've superglued the old one back together for now. I just don't trust super glue to hold up to the temp/vibration in the long run. I need to stop breaking my car :v:

People in places without pickups tow with Wagons all the time folks. Audis especially, cause dat AWD.
So today I learned that my rad has a 4 inch crack in it. Like I give a shit, it was free and new is 90 bux. Well, I'm kinda broke at the moment, fuck. So, boss man I'm workin' for, to the rescue, orders one and like an awesome dude eats the bill but the place he orders it from send a 4 cylinder rad. "It's a Honda? It's a 4 cylinder, they all are." -Some dumb "car guy" No good, lower hose mount is on the wrong side, fuck again. So to band-aid it I smeared a ton of Right Stuff over the crack. Even if it still leaks it's not pissing all the coolant fucking everywhere. The right one will be in tomorrow.

I'm not saying they are ugly, or an issue, just thought you were being ciritcal about stuff like that in the engine bay.

A vehicle can tow and pull more than they are designed for if you just be easy and take your time accelerating. The recommended max towing weight for her is 750lbs without breaks and 1700lbs with breaks and that's per Audi and the DMV. Lets not to mention in Europe people tow their camper trailers wit these damn cars all the time. Just gotta take your time.
He is destroying the car, but I doubt that is because he tows shit with it. ive seen 240 guys who tow more than that with no problems.
Indeed fine sir. The only time I acculy "destory" it is when I'm hauling my airplane trailer and I'm running 75mph and fighting the winddrag. That's when I'm putting unnecessary amounts of strain on the drive train.
People in places without pickups tow with Wagons all the time folks. Audis especially, cause dat AWD.
Cause dat quattrooooo. And really that damn thing only weighed ~1200lbs, the tractor was like ??? wats this??? pipe??? I can do dis easy! *lifts it off the train and over my audi and over to were its at now* On another note ask Ferosso. I've seen a photo he posted quite abit ago of one of his drift team members or something towing one of their cars.... Perfectly normal.

It runs around behind the battery in a literal circle down to the right of it through the firewall. I had to replace the original fuse from the mexicans who owned my car that ran it all through the drivers side and all this retarded crap which I cut more than 8 feet out of. When my motor mounts were bad my intake manifold kicked back and smashed my previous fuse which was where they left it dangling. The valve cover ground is hilariously actually stock, brown and ugly. I plan to run it behind the valve cover to the shock tower or something but I'll have to look into that someday if that's advised. [t]http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q232/jdmscg/EngineBay.jpg[/t] I was just being critical of the dust and dirt, I will probably relocate the battery to the trunk or something someday though since all of it looks like crap lol.

Just gotta watch where I park because door dings will destroy it. I've been tossing around the idea of doing a mopar themed 300C (much like the 2013 charger they released with the blue stripe) and I'm looking for ideas on stripes and design cues. I can either do the full body offset stripe like the charger, a tail R/T style stripe, or a front double stripe on the fender like another user has done. All in mopar blue. There will be other little accents around the car in blue that I'll slowly add. [editline]7th February 2014[/editline] [thumb]http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g418/tirafondomarc/mopar-2011-charger-101.jpg[/thumb] like this Or this [thumb]http://i1070.photobucket.com/albums/u496/nhooker42/2013-03-08_12-55-59_713_zps09b3eb0b.jpg[/thumb] Or this but in mopar blue [thumb]http://assets.hemmings.com/story_image/243181-1000-0.jpg?rev=2[/thumb] This is the actual mopar 300C they did [thumb]http://image.moparmusclemagazine.com/f/mopar-news/mopar-300-dart-compass-fiat-500/36354040/mopar-12-300-rear.jpg[/thumb]
I'd go offset. I never liked tail stripes

I just got doing digging threw EVERYTHING to find real numbers and you are correct. Why is the title / registeration info on my car saying 1700lbs and 750lbs un breaked? Weirdest part about it is why can these cars tow 4,200lbs but the only hitch you can buy class I's. Freaken Germans get all the fun stuff. :(
It can probably pull more without a brake, but you're not allowed to pull more than 1650 because of Eu or Norwegian laws. Your registration probably says it because of your local requirements.

That's actually weird they would make a wire like that stock. It seems like such an afterthought. It's better than my stock one which just draped all the way across the engine bay from the tranny to the battery and just hung in space for about 4 feet. I found pre-88's that had the same ones but all Civics 88-00 and Integras 90-01 are very similar platforms and they all had one. Seems to just have been something Honda always did, supposedly though it's an important ground for the ignition and distributor since the only other grounds are on the transmission and the ECU ground on the thermostat housing. Everyone always insists to mount it on the RHD throttle cable bracket, now the RHD throttle cable looks like a total after thought.. [t]http://i983.photobucket.com/albums/ae318/Mr_oemforyou/031-1.jpg[/t] Even the 1st gen Integras from 85 had them. [t]http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m229/ukteg/Integra%20lx/teg1579.jpg[/t]
