That's what the 240SX community already came up with. I could always just splice the power from the turn signal wire. But like you said, when the headlights are on, they blink in alternating sequence which is what I'm trying to avoid. The way Clutch wired it, if it does indeed work, it will blink together and stay on with the parking lights. I found the relay part number too any generic one with "RY115" because it has a mount flange so you can bolt it on somewhere. Generic 5-pin. I wonder if 4-pins can be used as well. Trying to do it with JDM lighting laws where the turn signals blink with the sidemarkers.
They won't blink in sequence with mine, it'll be alternating. Which, on that topic.. is the only way you'd know if it was blinking if you have it illuminate with the parking lights. Unless.. hold on a sec I might be able to figure something here. That BMW battery I think may just be wrong. Those little prongs are spot welded onto them basically, so they don't come off without destroying the battery. And DPk, what're you talkin about now, I may have missed the original subject for this doublepulse unlock biznizz? Double pulse is for when you have progressive locking and just want everything to unlock with 1 press.
I want to see the balls of the guy who welded that shit
I want to see the balls of the guy who welded that shit
It's a specialized spot weld, lemme pull up a video... Couldn't find one for the battery, but this is the same principle Wanna make your own spot welder? Do This!! (dontyoumightdie)
I know about welding but touching up a normal battery wouldn't feel right to me [editline]1st March 2014[/editline] I know people who have had batteries explode in their face because their didn't pay attention [editline]1st March 2014[/editline] And this has happened in 24volt (aka 2x12V battery) situations
I hate my life I caused that rear rust hole and probably the front line to happen. I ran a wire by popping out the hood latch seal where the cable runs through the firewall. That was 2.5 years ago and I just realized what it did. I ran the wire correctly now but the damage is done. Luckily though, the repair should be rather easy with the right tools since it's just the floor pan, I'll be getting quotes on it.
i sold the 300zx and bought a 280z! i need to stop
No offense but that thing is fucked
No offense but that thing is fucked
step aside plebian let the real men work
Naw that's just some patina. It'll buff out. [editline]28th February 2014[/editline] 280z>300z
i only paid $400 for the 300zx so its like i got a 280z that needs a little TLC for $400
Bought new tires for the 3 Not sure if I chose wisely. They feel a little mushy. I guess they need to break in. Bridgestone ecopia ep422 in stock size.

The part on the interior door that looks like chrome and then a piece of wood in between. I used a piece of aluminum stock, riveted some mahogany to it, and shaped it the same as the old piece. They looked nice. Not stock, but nice. DId 3 sets. I had a really really gross gold edition (or something like that - I don't know much about those cars) sitting in the driveway for a while that was fucked. I remember giving it away for free. Stupid decision. The body was almost 80% there. WAY better than the one you got, but the one there probably runs. This one did not. $400 is a good find if you cut all the rust out and redo it. Or just shoot some primer black all over it, sand the rust down, use a bunch of body filler, and sell it for $1,500 in running condition. SOmeone will bite. If the tires are still mushy there, i go as high as 6psi over. Too much more and i notice a difference in ride quality, which gets much worse when i go offroad
when im done with the car itll have little to no chrome on it. but yeah it runs good it sounds like a ww2 fighter plane i need to get a good video of it
Probably an exhaust leak I would think. Bolt the carb down tight and check the gasket on the manifold. If it runs good and sounds like a spitfire mustang with an unmuffled Rolls in it, then it's probably just leaking at the manifold.
its fuel injected lol
Oh. Future technology. Pshhhh
37 psi..... 36 is what it calls for. i think its just the eco tires....... i have 30 days to say i dont like these.
It could just be the eco tires. Before returning them for another set, id try 40psi. If theyre still mushy there, id trade them in for sure
I currently have my tires at 39 front and 35 rear. Manual calls for 32 psi all around, but they look flat at that psi. Now they look "normal" but the ride is horrible. I hate my tires.
I like my tires to have a little bulge at the bottom more grip, better ride, worse mileage perfect

Even though it's cloudy I couldn't help but do this. :)
I do the same thing with my t-tops! It's great until you start moving! (at least here, where we're topping 45 degrees as a high for last week and this week)
I put on my Flecktarn BDUs and bundled up; it was surprisingly cosy; safe for 55+ speeds where the wind was a bit chilly. I'm in love though :)
now put a 2jz in it
drop in a ej22
