Some cock-sucking black cunt broke into two of the work cars overnight so I had to replace the windows he broke. The only thing he stole was my time and my boss's money replacing said windows incase you were wondering. I can see that replacing glass wouldn't be the funnest of jobs :\

I thought your bimmer was dual out one side?
Yeah but the place I went to didnt have any dual tail pipes that fit the opening on my bumper, which means I needed one to be made for it to fit which costed more. And so far it looks like this, and it annoys me everyday when I see it like that

What brand/type of paint are you using on those engine components?
What brand/type of paint are you using on those engine components?
High temp VHT primer first then Rustoleom or Krylon for color. Found that Krylon's quality is way better when it dries.

Alright thanks, I may or may not paint some engine components in my car. Your motor looks great btw.
Picked up these for a total ROBBERY

(Only picture i have of them at the moment). Tires are a year and a half old, 80-90% tread left (around $250 a side) rims with tires are 20x8.5 Challenger Heritage Classic Edition rims ($125-250 each) and the ones without rubber are 20x10 Torq thrust M's (worth $250 each in canada)

challengertalk forums would kill you for that
Changed blower motor and resistor as they suddenly went batshit insane today. 86$ and a backache.
Then did a waterpump on my flatmate car. Fun stuff heh

I figured that as much hahaha! I can't decide whether I should make two complete sets of rims, or just buy the other torq thrusts. I really like the heritage rims, they are like a propper 20" cragar SS but finding two other rims is gonna be a total bitch. The torq thrusts are nice for now, seeing as the actual rims I want are 4 grand I'll settle with these, back tires are gonna be close to $600 (around a 295/45/r20)

This picture was taken only seconds before the chain snapped and the engine crushed down into the engine bay denting up everything and ruining it's paintjob and a few parts.

Went to do my first oil change on the Mazda. My ramps won't fit under the bumper! :v:
I'm so tired of saving up money instead of modding the civic...
Went to do my first oil change on the Mazda. My ramps won't fit under the bumper! :v:
so its like any other car? get smaller ramps, use wood blocks to get on/off them, or use a jack.
i used seatbelts when lifting my m30b35 into the e30 with everything on it.

Wrecking company's use seat belts to tow cars out of rivers and stuff.
Seat belts are OP.

So It took about 7 or so hours to get everything replaced from the sway bars, end links, and the suspension. The BC coilovers are very very good and the initial drive I took was a good first run. It takes the bumps very well and the sway bars allow me to take corners much nicer and theres much less horizontal motion which is really good.

The Old suspension was really nasty and all sorts of fucked up.

The sway bars were a really big improvement overall, the guys at Ultra Racing know how to make a good product.

The adjustable end links, along with the suspension and swaybar was a pretty sight for sure.

And If course, when everything was said and done, the MR2 is no longer a monster truck. If you need a size comparison, the car behind mine is a CRX.

Overall a great learning experience and an immense improvement, Tiersin made it easy and its always good to have that extra pair of educated hands.
The sway bar picture does no justice to just how pathetic the front sway on an N/A MR2 chassis is.
From the initial ride the BC coils seem to handle real nice. They're not nearly as stiff as I thought they would be, but they are a decent increase over stock. It will be nice to see how it drives after yet another alignment.
Later this spring we will be getting it dyno'd again to see where its running @ 16-17 PSI.
That must be sooo fun to drive now with that setup.

I only drove it around the block and back but there's notable improvements all the way around, it definitely is a lot better than OEM for sure, especially for the sway bars. It desperately needs an alignment, [sp]which I just got done less than a month ago, but fuck, whatever[/sp] it'll be perfect as far as handling goes once I get my new tires and the alignment done which I have planned this tuesday. I also have a new steering wheel on the way to replace the one eaten by the last guy, it's going to be great.
Your alignment guy's not gonna know what to do with himself with all those adjustment possibilities :v:

Started tearing into my new pickup, cleaning anything that came along. Got the seats torn out and the interior ran down with a vacuum and the whole outside washed decently. Scraped all the tree sap from it too and took an hour removing ancient bumper stickers.
Set out to tackle the taillights and clean them all out. Nearly clogged the sink with all the nastyness that came out of them. Currently they are drying and tomorrow I'll go over them with plastx to clean up the hazing on the lens.

That must feel amazing. Ultra Racing makes really good stuff for most tuning platforms. I find it also weird how Toyota attached that bar; on Nissans its usually on the control arms

I'm going to have to be there to tell him what options he has for adjusting my camber, due to some clearance issues I have on the front passenger wheel.

The deuce genuinely feels like it's on rails, It does exactly what I want it to do when I tell it to, it's the greatest.
